  1. it needs a plenum. the banshee will spin the turbo fine it needs somewhere to push the air... you cannot build boost unless its MOVING someplace.. you trying to run it on the dyno? the way its set up it will be very topendish and very peakky because it wont make any power untill way up in the rpm range and after a few seconds of being there.. your going to need a plenum, and possibly an intake blow off valve and possibly a boost controller to help it create boost at lower rpm's// you can hear the lag contorller when he takes off it pops its dumping fuel in the pipe and explodes creating a lot of pressure in the pipe's themselves boosts the turbo wayyy up bet its launching aiwht abot 10 psi at the get go. also being a CVT drive it can just maintain a constant rpm range and let the clutch do the work..
  2. 28's are great smooth bore to 30's neato too. i have 30's on my trail bike and 28's on my old trail bike.. all the other banshee's i have are running lectrons. i have a set that are runable BUT should have new slides in them i'd sell for 100 bucks..
  3. i think i rember saying you needed a BOX on the intakes.... the bike probably wont make ANY boost till upper rpm's OR the waste gate is open or a few other things..
  4. get um polished.. VHT engine paint works good if not.. get anything on them it takes it off like gas, oil, pee be carefull
  5. are those that power meyow thanggy? bet a boost bottle and power meyows will wake er up!!
  6. ok i bought a bike with the 9 plate nmotion/ wiseco clutch set up in it. i rode it one time and its was sapposed to have 1 other ride on it on the new clutch set up ( i do believe that!) it stoped shifting and i took the cover off to kinda see what was happening the backing plate had blown off and the cusions were scatterd all over the inside of the motor. ( YIKES!) now i am not new to blowing backing plates off. but NOT with the stock spring steel backing plates!! this is a 80hp bike with a lot of tq so no big deal. NOW i noticed that wiseco is reusing the stock backing plate, GREAT!! BUT they are bolting it on with teeny tiny lil ity bitty weenie ass POS bolts!!! what the hell!! i almost couldnt even see them in the debris!!! i have now fixed the backing plate/ basket with 8mm/1.25 bolts and after pulling the motor and splitting it will install a new clutch basket.. SOOOO IF YOU HAVE A wiseco basket REMOVE IT NOW and install / mod the backing plate and basket to use the larger bolts IF YOU R bike makes ANY power i bet the backing plate has snapped those lil bitty teeny time shit ass designe'd bolt's heads off and your plate is eating away at your cases..
  7. grab bar looks kewl. i dunno about the bumper. almost looks to narrow to me?? i think it would be neato'r if the bars were wider at the ton and kind got shorter as they came down? nice looking stuff tho?
  8. eatin air YIKES!!! i bet it DID have a new top end its just that the piston to wall clearance was SO big it blew the skirt off the first time it started up and luckly (kinda) it all blew out the pipe? i have seen that before. sucks what happened. if the bike was that shitty i would have backed out of the deal.. i hate misrepresented banshee's on craigslist or the cheapo's i see every once in a while i'd rather just KNOW whats wrong if the seller knows. dosent mean i'm NOT going to buy it...
  9. if your bike makes over 65hp i can guarantee that you WILL snap the lil bitty bolts that come with the hinson and EXPLODED the backing plate on the barnett baskets. the stock backing plate is sweet the aftermarket baskets should have figured out a way to reasemble the basket with the stock backing plate even if it was using stockish rivets that you needed to have pressed in... or you can buy the hinson springloaded basket.. thats what seems to work excellent!
  10. yup know why i'm pissed... i'm going to LA to make a lil visit to my mom just might have to try and make a lil day trip and check them out myself...
  11. the billet valves shouldnt cost 500 bucks.. the head is CAST and shouldnt cost that much either... its a price gouge compared to a cub. a ct 350cc honda cylinder with pv and head is around 1000 bucks or less..
  12. what takes off anodize in a few seconds?? i have used oven cleaner and it takes a lil bit ( or i have a cover thats heavily anodized)
  13. camatv

    sand geckos

they suck oh unless you have a street bike motor'd bike ( seems they all have them>?? not sure why)
  14. graydon intake is great. they would be very easy to make also. i ran one for a long time on an mx banshee with a 39mm kehien with a powerjet. and pc's. if you want more bottom end try t-6's if you want more top end try cpi's your going to loose bottom with the cpi's the t-5's may have a wee bit more on top but not much. i really liked the pc's on my lil 350 with dual 38's on alky..
  15. hold up now you say your bike overheats very quickly AND it only goes 106km per hour. so your saying your top speed is low WHILE its overheating?? am i the only one here or what.? if your blasting it down the road while its pissing coolant out all over the place you probably need to up your main but you have probably also hurt something else due to the overreving and overheating. if it over heats just general riding around i BET your water pump OR your radiator has an issue. have you washed your radiator out?
  16. i really enjoy my NOSS head and have refered a bunch of peeps to him ( thoo i have never talked to dave directelly) but will in the future as he's cutting domes for a guy that i use for domes.. the pro desing heads i have all came with the bikes i bought and they are ok. i really prefer NOT having to remove the studs if you read the directions that come with the heads they all say to use grease/ vaseline to install the o-rings makes it very easy..
  17. i have oblonged the holes and made them fit honda honda is 110 and ban is 115mm its a 2.5mm change. easy to do.
  18. good choice!!!!
  19. excellent condition barely ever run custom full length skidplate, round carrier ( of course) blue powdercoated full guseted mx guseting, tt or mx use. i think its a -1 or a -2 not sure 300+ shipping its NOT a cheapo and the skid i feel is worth at least 65.00 and it ONLY fits this swingarm. so NO i cannot take it off and i wont seperate it to save a few bucks. can email pictures located in nickerson kansas and i can deliever to wichita/ salina etc..
  20. most of the ones i seen hop into 1st or second probably shook into gear thats the reason the n down has become so popular. i need a 1-5 because of my weight, gear, motor tq, and tire combo's i was exploding 2nd gears within a few runs.. i did it many many times and it was very anoying...
  21. still like to know where my stinking axle is.. hell they even still have my old one if i had it at least i could try and sell the hubs...
  22. kenda klaw work great wear nice hook hard.. holeshots work well but are toast in a just a months... turf tamers work great IF you grove them.. other than that they are ok for very hard pack and thats all..
  23. they are sweet. if you can afford the top end.. not sure why they are soooo much more than a cub.. part to part there is about 700-900+ bucks there for profit i 'd imagine.. i have a 485 and a 535 pv motor love them..
  24. why dont you go buy the shop over there and ask that asshole where my fucking broken ass drag axle is he promised to send out to me.. bullshit i have also bought a LOT of RIS billet over the years and after my axle snaped in half on a flat dune and flipped the bike and cracked my ribs up. they said they'd send me a new axle i sent in the broken one and after months and months of calls and promises and oh we lost your address,,, oh its right here in the box,, oh you should have gotten it already bullshit i never got the axle welp still to this day nothing from them and its been over a year... screw RIS.. they are damn lucky ididnt sue them over the hospital bill. i didnt do anything because at least they were going to cover the axle (800 bucks).. i use JJ+A axles now. MUCH better design and quality...
