  1. as far as i know the elevation is between 4500-6000 ft depending on the exact area, however it varies alot as as you go due to the mountains, will that affect the bike during riding? going from say 6000- to upwards of 7000 for brief periods?
  2. just wondering if anybody on here is out in colorado springs, im getting stationed there beginning next year and im trying to get my banshee prepped before I move out. Little hard to do that all the way from Germany though haha, anyway my question is my motor is all stock just wondering what size jets and everything you all got going on in your carbs? any differenece in how you mix your fuel, Ive been running 32:1 yamalube r and its working great for me for now. Also wheres the best spot to ride a banshee at around colorado springs area?
  3. Hey ya'll. Just bought my first banshee last august. Love it already. The only bad part is I dont get to ride it to often being stuck in Afghanistan right now. However I do look forward to getting back and riding the heck out of it til I get told to go somewhere else haha. Anyway, its already got bill's pipes which i am thinking about switching out for toomey t6's. Cool heads not sure on the exact size because like i said i dont have more then two weeks at a time with it til next year. What size jets do you all recommend, I live in east missouri basically at sea level, running stock carbs. It doesnt have any other mods that i know of other than just apperance stuff. thanks for the help everyone!
  4. 32:1 or 34:1, yamalube R. Havent fouled a plug or had any problems so far!!!
  5. Holeshot HD's have powered me through some sticky stuff before. If you can keep your front tires on semi good ground and keep a good gear almost any tire is gonna be good. Just my opinion though. HD's are a pretty meavy tire being they are a 6 ply though.
  6. mostly weight. I ran the 6 ply hds and they were tough as nails but after riding in my area i just didnt see the need for that heavy duty of a tire. Only a few spots had sharp rocks or stumps and personally i avoid those to just avoid any other kind of damage haha. Most of my riding is open gravel roads or well beaten wood trails.
  7. Pretty much the same as you im from about 35-40 mins north of STL haha. Mainly a little of everything. Sandy clay mostly. Gravel roads then clay back trails, dropping into river beds. Like i said i ran Hd's they were good but i wanna try a little bit lighter of a tire. They are about as heavy as my wofes car tire it seems like haha
  8. Just wondering who all is running itp ss alloy wheels on there banshee. If so what are the tires you all like to run. I have been running holeshot hd's on my old rims but want to switch to save some weight. Preffering Itp but i am open to suggestions
