  1. You should have between 11 and 15 volts going to the lights (depends on rpms). If you have more than 15 volts you need a new voltage regulator.
  2. You don't have to be in the east to board or ski. I went snowboarding last Saturday no more than 2 hours from my place. It was in the 80's here and 40's up on the mountain. This weekend is forcasted to have sand flying in the air in the form of roost off my paddles at Glamis. It was nice to get up in the mountains to play in the white stuff for a few hours. It was even nicer to be home sitting outside in a t-shirt and shorts.
  3. How did you wear out a sparkplug on your banshee? I had the same set of plugs in my shee for over 4 years with no problems. I always run resister plugs because thats what came on my shee. They don't really give up anything to non resister plugs. They cost the same amount. Currently I run BR8EG fine wire plugs. They don't seem to foul out as often on a overly rich running machine.
  4. Pull the pilot jet out of the carb having the back firing issue and hold it up to a light. You probably have a grain of sand or other crap plugging it up.
  5. Hightemp do you live in San Diego? Scribbs is in El Cajon. The crank could be a long rod and use 795 pistons. The only true way of telling what crank you have is to measure the actual piston stroke. I'm hiding a 7mm stroker in stock cylinders and the head could be any old bolt on aftermarket head. If you bought it from a guy that didn't seem like he was pulling your chain you probably do have a 4mm stroker.
  6. Sounds more like a loose wire to me...
  7. You probably can't make that on gas with a stock stroke or big bore. It would take at least a 7mm stroker to do that on gas with stock cylinders. You might get close if you use alky and a little nitro mixed in or NO2. A cheetah cylinder will get into the 90's on gas.
  8. www.kdcycle.com has the kit
  9. Use MC-1 then... it will turn Blue Green
  10. On the next episode of As the HQ turns.... Boonman and Brooke finally square off and see who's sword is bigger... Stay tuned! Thanks for lighting things up in here for us other schmucks
  11. Which one do you have... round housing or the stock bearing carrier? Take a picture of your problem if you can.
  12. I use MC-1 and HR-1 premix... good stuff. The best part is the dye they use in the oil. You will know if you have mixed gas or straight gas for sure. MC-1 is blue green and HR-1 is red.
  13. GPS is one of the most useful things you can put on your Banshee. One you can tell how fast you currently are going. Two it will save your max speed. You can save points/locations so you can find things which are hard to find like jumps or buddies that are hurt or have run out of gas. You can make a "track" which you can follow over and over again. There is tons of stuff you can do with them. The most important is marking where someone got hurt or broken down so if you have to go back for tools or a tow rope you can get directly back to them. I have used my GPS to help a friend that ran out of gas in the dunes. He was about a mile and a half from camp at the bottom of a bowl. If I didn't have my GPS it would have been a pain to find him.
  14. Your describing your packing burning up. After a lot of oil build up on the packing, a long high rpm rip down a long straightaway will cause the packing to catch on fire inside of your silencers. It will sit there and smolder until lack of oxygen causes it to burn itself out. Pull your silencers and repack them.
  15. You need to float the ground and add a regulator/rectifier which changes the AC voltage to DC for charging the battery. The only problem is what size battery you will need to operate a winch. If your going to be using an automotive style winch it might take too much power for it to run effectively. I just added a battery to my banshee... check the HID lights post under images.
  16. You should host them on another site... then post the target using the img button below the font choices on the top of a reply.
  17. China Wall isn't that steep... that camera is tilted. Line up the bottom of the clouds to see the true angle. It is steep though.
  18. I run RU-1090 on my 35pwks... they are 3.5x6" with a 10 or 15 degree angle so you can rotate them so they don't hit the pipes. They require outerware part number 115-6T (need to double check the outerware number but I'm pretty sure it's correct).
  19. Shhhh.... don't tell nobody!
  20. Do you still have the parking brake intalled?
  21. 382cc and you can't run those pistons unless you use a spacer plate around 7mm thick (it's a little less as you have to run 2 gaskets.
  22. Check for spark... your CDI might be going bad.
  23. Coil or CDI... maybe a loose wire too though
  24. I got my Christmas Bonus just like I have since I started working at this smaller Architectural office. The bonus amount depends on how much you make and how much ass you have kissed throughout the year. Since I got the same amount as last year I must not be kissing enough ass... at least it was enough to buy myself a few nice things.
  25. Search.... thanks....
