  1. Shee has +4mm crank, bored 30 over, shaved head, clean up port, Toomey pipes, 34mm Kehins w/ pro-design manifolds, V-Force reeds with 1/2" spacers. tires are in good shape as well as plastic asking $2200, I got cut off on my motorcycle and lost 2 weeks of work so i'm trying to cover my bills. so price is not set in stone thanks Brian
  2. i had mine at 82.6 on the ice with mods in my sig and 14-44 gears and 22" tires. Totally off topic but i thinks this is great. I was riding this weekend and ran into a guy with a 250r pushing 125 hp and 122mph on radar . He was a total red neck "built the motor himself" so he wanted to race and i wanted to see how my shee stacked up against a 125hp 250r . so after he shifted into "reverse" we stopped and he said he thought he blew it up, there was anti-freeze and oil running down the out side of the motor..... come to find out that when" building the motor himself" he forgot to tighten the head bolts oops just thought it was funny.
  3. O/A . They wouldn't be shit with outHoward. Who do think started the so called "shock radio" thing. Why is XM trying to lower the subscription rates when people try to close there accounts. they signed Oprah or 3 years 50 million dollars and she's only gonna do a 30min show once a week, it seems to me they are grasping at straws. Not saying that XM is going to go away but i do think sirius will be on top by no later than jan/feb 2007. You guys are right though numbers dont lie, 1st quarter of 2005 Xm had about 5million subs and sirius had 600,000....... 1st quarter of 2006 XM has 6.5 million subs and Sirius has 4million. I think you can see where i'm going with that. XM is going to be hurting when they lose NASCAR at the end of this year
  4. went out this weekend to screw around on the ice, oval track and a grand prix style road course did pretty good on saturday against 4 other guys , so ifigured i'd try the races on sunday, well i registered and practiced with everyone else and quickly withdrawed. These guys were out of my league. So i'm just looking for some good set ups for flat tracking. (assuming they will work on ice) any ideas would be appreciated. thanks, Brian
  5. www.adboivin.com they have applications for raptor and banshee
  6. a few of you asked for my compression and it is 162 on both cyls. give or take 1-2 psi, and i did try running it on straight pump gas and it ran like shit and the motor sounded like shit. i've looked into buying race fuel in bulk but i cant swing 500-600 bucks for that, so i'm stuck buying it by 5 gallon cans @ $8/gallon, I just wanted to see what the pros and cons of av-gas were thanks guys for all your thoughts
  7. right now i'm running 50/50 93octane and VP c-12, but its getting expensive so i was wondering if running straight 100LL would be better or worse. Right now i'm paying about 35 bucks/ tank and runnin straight AV-gas would save me about 15 bucks/ tank, any insight would be appreciated thanks, Brian
  8. right now i have a clean up port done, what will i gain from an actual port job, i.e. woods port, dune port or drag port. I know i don't need a full on drag port, but what kind of port should i go with for fast trail riding, sand pits, and now ice racing in the winter or occasional drags with friends? thanks for you help... Brian
  9. just put these carbs on and it bogs coming off idle. I posted awhile back and some replies said my motor may not flow enough for these carbs, could that be the problem, or is it just jetting. Mods are in my sig. and i'm running 160 mains not sure on the pilots. Brian
  10. i cant really tell you whether or not to change rings, but i live here in maine and mine starts in 2-3 kicks @ 10 degrees......... so i don't think it's a 2-stroke thing . Just my .02
  11. i did 5 runs on the ice 2 weeks ago and i got between 81.6 and 82.4 on gps with 14-44 and 22" tires, and mods in my sig. good enough for me
  12. a 929 is alot of bike for a beginer, but i've always felt that you can start out on what ever you want as long as you respect it. Me personally, i rode R6's for 3-4 years and that was an awesome bike. The only time i didn't feel it had enough power was when we would all go out on "hell rides" and all the guys with the liter bikes would be gone, but over all i feel 600's are great bikes. I'm not saying this is the case here, but more often than not people go out and get "big bikes" just to say they have one. I traded my R6 in for a 2005 yamaha road star warrior , best thing i ever did. Which ever bike you go with, ride safe. There are alot of idiots out there.
  13. any one know where i could find o-rings to replace it, i'm having no luck
  14. never mind the stock bearings have pis that keep them from spinning
