Now with jim's 12PS I installed 3 toomey springs in the same clutch and i Sand hillshoot all day long with mine and it as never slipped once. 6. I wil Race you this weekend On saturday I am planning to go up. What are your mods ?
  7. Big Horsepower gains cost more money.over 5 Hp Small horsepower gain are little cheaper.under 2 or 3 hp. Some gains aren't related to Hp but make your bike feel quicker. Milled Head cost is low cost. Lighten your Flywheel is low cost. Adv. timing 4 degree is low cost. Air box mods are low in cost Spot on jetting helps with power output. Boost Bottle waste of money. Same with reed spacer unless to really need to play with powerband. Minimal changes with my experience But all this help little, But to really FEEL some power you need Pipes & than Porting then that is When a Ban shee Be comes a Man.
  8. I done this too. cost was like under ten dollars. The walmart meat gauage has worked well form me. 6 outings so far and still tickin .
  9. Bigairee Thank you.

  11. where you guys from?
  12. Yes I was wrong. I was thinking Stroker when I answered the last question. I have learned that Big boring a stock cylinders Is not as favorable Because the transfer tracks are to small to help the big bore make added power. But if you go with aftermarket cylinders than is all changes for the better. Dollar for dollar it hard to beat what you get with a Long rod stroker. This is my opinion. Are there any others?
  13. Thats easy question, None And Not enough money.
  14. you can use a rag in the primary drive gear to hold the crack from turning. Cheap tool. But a strap wrench be best.
  15. I am Not a Keihin Fan but Jim knows the Pj's like the Lines on his hands. But aren't the PWK's new & improved model. If it where me based on what I have learn (read mostly) for your riding flavor I go with pwk's.
  16. What Motor did you look at before you decided on the Kawasaki motor? I am thinking about a mid sized Bulletbike motor in a Banshee frame , R6 looked shorter than the Kawasaki in height but i never measured any yet. If you tweak them they are about 120 Hp with simple mods But this is just very rough est. what is est Hp of the kawasaki?
  17. Thx ZIllaDude I was hoping you reply. My Son quad is a 86 and runs damm good. Was only on it's 2nd set of tires from being new, But the front brake calipiers are different colors one is purple & other aluiminum. the reason i state this was becuase the front right tire had too much chamber and the top of the tire was leaning out about a half inch, Didn't notice it until we cut the plastic. Well I was wondering if the that right side Aarm got change along the way with a new design. Possible?
  18. OK First Off No Smart SOB'in answers. OK what are the differences between 85/86 models & the 87/92 model besides the graphics.
  19. You paint the hubs andgrill, add good pipes and someone got a pretty nice near new banshee for a good price. Nyuk Bib on it.
  20. Well both will help the topend. But the 34mm will be better choice of the two for lower rpm.. You will need new intakes if they are stock. Edit On a 2nd look I see you have 40mm Lectron carbs. Why are you switching?
  21. Check out Proflow for a true & welded crank they sell a drop in stock replacement for 300. this will be the cheapest & fastest.
  22. DIDO On ProFlow, Best prices I seen for New Carbs.
