Yeah it's like that But instead of moving stuff with shims like in a rearend You need a Matching set of gear for the proper gear lash. I am going to Vescos and ask some question. SO any body Have any ideas on this?

Joe Before I bought the shee I think This caused the Problem. The washer that goes with thw kicker idle gear feel off with the circleclip. I found the clip but only pieces of the washer. Four teeth on the main primary driven gear on the culych basket had chips in the, minor but there was no inherfearnace from it. That was last fall when i found this out, So this spring I did major upgrade, Clutch basket cushoin where worn out so I bought a new basket.Crank shaft is new. Top end. Port work for a passion 12 port engine. So the small gear as a tweak tooth or two very slight but there. I correct it with a small dremel tip. but there is alittle blind still. IN the yamaha manual page 3-21 it talk about lash number during replacement . Damm it more shit to figure out. I was just going to buy a new one and now they need to Match up GRRRRRR.

I am in the process of assembly my Passion 12 port stroker. I needed a new clutch basket so I bought a new one And there is a new wiseco 4 mill crank. As I putting this together I am check fix of the parts But I have never assembled with this many brand new parts. OK as I rotate the basket on the crank gear it starts to bind alittle , it takes alittle more pressure to turn pass three places. I am concerned that the new basket was out of spec but my Old basket does it too. But at a lesser level. Is it my crank or does it just in need to be broke in.

Personaly I feel it's better to keep the stocker and get a new one if the money is there . That way you can always go back.

I get the 4 inch for Best Duneing ride. I personal run a 5 inch. But i am 80 % dune.

I did. And there own tech told me the T5 are the best choice for a Modifed Engine. But T6 still work on a modifed one. But niether One will Rev with the Shearer or Cpi's.

Go to Tommeys website I think you can piece one from there. Need a cap, Idle screw, Tap, Cable. I think they have that stuff.

Stock Cdi Work fine. and are alot cheaper, Unless you like spending money on the Shee. I replace it with Stock. And spend the Money On a Bad Ass Port job. Or tools and Do your Own.

Personal I replace it before it has a chance of making something else bad. Thats my 4 cents. You can spend it now or 5 times more later. The choice is yours.

One other that will work great with porting and be ok with stock porting is Some 28mm flat slide carbs Open the top up alittle and help throttle responce out alot by losing the Rs stock carbs. And when you port More still. If you watch ebay There is a guy who sell a set of Mikunis 28mm Tm's for 189.00 We installed a set on my sons 2003 with CPI's and It was worth it. Just food for thought. Jon 23 How old are you? The Banshee in stock form is some wheres around 37 Hp. It should go over 60 mph so where a Helmet And a Diaper for ease of cleanup after the first ride. If you like racing the Sand mountian Jerico Great, If you like the Backside for general duneing Than St Anthony The place, Bigger General size dune for Playing around. Sand Mountian Longer But i think Choke CHerry is Steeper. I Like St Anthony Better. From my house 195 to St Anthony & 220 to Jerico Apox so pretty much the same but the other way for you.
