  1. can you send some pictures to: [email protected] thanks. Also able to take creditcard paypal? I'm interrested.
  2. Hey mate, Whats the length from eye to eye of those 450 shocks? are you able to take paypal?
  3. Then what will the larger intake do if your piston skirt intakes are smaller? wouldnt that be the limiting factor then?
  4. Fellow banshee riders i come to you with great news. On our last trip with the quads we shot some video footage. while i reviewed the video's i could clearly see how my banshee responded to all kinds of terrain, this helped me out with my suspension setup a bit. Might be helpfull
  5. i have a clicky noise aswell since recently. but it only starts when its heated up.. and sometimes its gone. i think its the water impeler.
  6. sounds of my t5's http://nighty.servebeer.com/fotos/quads/sounds/
  7. dune slinger is close with that setup.
  8. And if that doesnt work you could try flipping over the pickup coil wires.
  9. Wow this can be a load of things. but since you have people around who know 2stroke basiscs some of this might already be tried out. -fresh tank of gas- -check compression? what i think: check the gap between the flywheel and pickup coil if the gap turns out oki and you have a spark when you test the plugs on the engine then: check for airleaks and check your reed valves, one of the valves might be torn. everything torqued down right? for example: the head?
  10. Could be what the guys above said. But from what you are saying it sounds like your engine is not turning over at all is it? might be the sprocket behind your clutch basket. of if you're lucky some other sprocket that broke. how did this happen? anything done special lately?
  11. stock for stock definatly the 450 wins all round. you might stand a really small chance draging on asphalt. i raced a mildly tuned 450 (snorkel removed rejeted and dbkiller/spark arrester removed) and had a hard time catching up on a tight sand track, with my banshee. pipes + k&n c'mon guys this thing is supposted to be the successor of the shee. fact is: riding a banshee is a way of life. 2 stroke, mixing oil, fucking high rev i love it but i'd love to own a 450.
  12. i switched my toomeys once for the stock pipes. Had some help from a few friends so we switched the pipes in like 20 minutes. . i was stupid enough to NOT check the wiring and had the exact same problem you are describing now. my whole (dont know the english word for this:) "cable tree" was molten to my stinger... not good after restoring all the wires and connections it was fine again.
  13. ?
  14. I asked this before when i got my k&N setup: The k&n manual told me to make the right side richer(over the left side) by going up 3 extra steps on the mains and up the needle 1 position. Ofcourse i came here and asked why , since i couldnt come up with a logical explanation. Noone else could come up with a reasonable explanation at the time. i checked my plugs recently and the right side was a tiny little bit leaner. Could be an air leak, but i doubt it.
  15. How do you figure out what clearances your piston needs? example .20 over pistons mean size 64.50MM current cilinder size: 64.40 .. so bore to 64.50 + clearance for piston. then hone the cilinder.
  16. Thanks man you're an angel. stupid video oh well my clutch houseing moves while my clutch sprocket does not move. (free play) about 0.3" then the housing "hooks" and starts to rotate the sprocket (and crank ) aswell. the yamaha guy said the friction plates where O.K. but burned.. i need new ones. and he was unsure about the iron plates. they look brown blue but not damaged.
  17. WHOHAAA NINJA FIGHTER
  18. I have circumferential play!! atleast.. i think i have Could somebody please have a look at a video clip i shot from the clutch housing? It might take a while to load up but it would be greatly appreciated. video clip can be found here: Video of clutch housing freeplay. Other than that all the other clutch components are in spec. I shot some pictures of the clutch components aswell. since i figured they might be burned. the friction plates are black and feel smooth. the clutch plates (metal things) look blue and some of the rubber rings are extremly hard!! cant even bend some of the rubber rings without breaking. The pictures are small and should load up fairly fast. please have a look. clutch album Sidenotes: I'll pickup some harder/longer springs since mine where exactly 35mm I might use 3 raptor springs those are 40mm And i noticed raptor friction plates have a bit more friction and do fit the clutch housing. anybody ever tried this? i'm not going to try it, but was just wondering. thanks guys!
  19. Thanks guys, I have stock friction plates laying around. I'll get a set of heavier springs. any chance the metal plates are worn aswell?
  20. and the wiseco pro lites?
  21. Did another testing run last night. Hell yeah it's slipping. And i dont think its possible to adjust the clutch tighter. is there? if i try to adjust on the handle bars the clutch lever only gets more free play. Will rip it appart this week to check the rattling noise and clutch plates. i dont have a water impeler yet. and am looking for a magnetic oil drain plug Any other things to check while i'm in there? The marks on the case are exactly lined up when i'm not touching the clutch lever so to speak in the engaged position. as soon as i touch the lever its almost totally disengaged. Thanks.
  22. Or just visit any Yamaha dealer and give them one of these partnumbers depending on the size you need: 27.5 Pilot:260-14142-27 30 Pilot:260-14142-30 32.5 Pilot:260-14142-32 35 Pilot:260-14142-35 If you need a picture i have one somewhere in full color.
  23. So that would be up, 1 tooth and down 1 tooth. Hmm i might go with 15 * 40 then. I think its a bit large and it wont rev out in 6th i guess. I'd rather have a somewhat lower gearing, that way i can start in second gear.
  24. Hey boonman, I dont wanna get your hopes up but even from a completely crashed (fysical(hardware damage)) harddrive data can be recovered if needs be. There are data recovery companies who can really do magic stuff. its costs some $$$ but since its for the business it might be worth looking into. Sorry man harddrives crash alot.. take care people! i know its nuts to have shit on cd floppy and on 3 harddrives but i cant tell you how much my putter crashed whenever i needed to do something for school or lost documents the day before.. crap like that.. lol even 1 time one of my files was corupted couldnt open it and i had it on cd.. cd unreadable.. well f*ck THAT.. those where the times i cursed at everything and asked WHY .. why G@(*DAN!IT why! Ive become more efficient of recovering data since then
  25. I have a one piece chain 104 links. I was just wondering howmuch you can adjust the carrier.
