  1. Yellow raptor shocks? and the raptor shocks are a tiny bit longer aswell. Banshee shocks are a tiny bit shorter. might be 400ex? or indeed a canondale, lots of different versions of that 440 bike. there might be one with these shocks stock on it.
  2. Its the succeeder of the banshee. it IS an improved banshee. Yamaha is forced to switch to 4 stroke technology But are trying there best to please the 2 stroke fans. Great machine. even in stock form capable of beating many banshees. I will have some sounds video's and pictures up soon. the 450 revs fast as hell.
  3. LMAO hot chicks indeed *Pictures one of the hot chicks cracking a fender* Hey Garagme, nice sig thats a feyenoord soccer supporter
  4. Still curious about this: Any comment would be great
  5. mine slided out real easy. light tapping was all it took. Ill try to get a nice review done of the grease fitting. Pictures and stuff.. I think its going to be kind of hard since the D@mn$d swingarm is round + grease fitting cannot be to long. (the sleeve wont go in if the fitting is to long) i decided the fitting goes on the downside of the swingarm.
  6. hmm crap.. this means my 650 degree celcuis stuf is not going to hold...
  7. hey Qumby, Do you happen to have pictures of this: whats the best place to locate the grease fitting?
  8. i mostly listen: www.digitallyimported.com great site.. should consider sponsering them.
  9. 450 picked up last night. His raptor was in complete NEW state, new finders new tires, frame not even scratched. The 450 looks a bit wurse. it had abeen rolled, fenders have white stripes on them one of the fenders has a cracked mount point. Yep this thing is comming straight from the dealer its already the 3th second hand the dealer sells. Not sure howmuch he needed to pay extra, We took the 450 for a short spin last night and from what i have seen, felt and heared i can say: It idle's a bit rough, uneven. but once you get going its extreemly fast beeing stock. verry short geared, and really trothle responsive. Suspension and handleing is just awesome fabulous and superb. never felt anything handle like it. It has the power of a banshee, handles like a f1 car, and is lightweight like a blaster so you can throw it around like nothing else. More to come, when we line that thing up with the raptors.
  10. whoehoe i better dig up my ebay account then
  11. nice led nice Another option to consider: Since you are posting here i assume you have access to a working putter. Buildin the harddisk with the missing or corrupt ntfs.sys in the working computer as a second harddrive. start the working putter and use windows explorer to copy the ntfs.sys file from the working harddisk to the failed harddisk. would be best to do this in a windows xp computer. What do you think led... a good option?
  12. Windows xp? windows 2000? You will need the orginal windows cd. insert the cd in your cdrom player and have your computer boot from that cd. somewhere along the way you will have an option to go into recovery console. next you will need to copy the Nfts.sys file from the orginal cd to the correct location on your harddisk probably beeing: c:\winnt\system32\Drivers\Nfts.sys or else: c:\windows\system32\Drivers\Nfts.sys be carefull, have a handy computer mate fix it
  13. Thats for you to decide. for me: I'm keeping my banshee because i just dont have the cash for a 450. I dont just race my quad or ride it, i think i actually love it. I love to thinker and search for mods and parts. and most important.. its a 2 stroke.. mixing oil. Its a livestyle, Its a banshee.
  14. how about those shocks... still selling?
  15. i'll give you 60 maybe 75 if shipping turns out to be not to $$$
  16. I am going to sandblast them and use blank laquer heat resistant up to 650 degrees Celcius. and then hope it holds
  17. One of the riding mates decided to trade in his slighty modded 660R for a used stock 450. I cant wait to see how those things perform. Now i can finally see with my own eyes. i think: video time shooting some footage of that thing in action.
  18. Hmm thats nice.. i was thinking about making a vortex in my exhaust ports of my banshee cilinders. i see this guy has come up with the exact same thing i should have patented it Does it work?
  19. Could the carb slide be in the wrong way around? Or are the slides out of sync?
  20. That has to be the most lean setup i have ever seen! Jetting will vary from machine to machine but with ONLY a toomey pipe you should already have 280 mains.. now with the k&N AND vforce i would DEFINATLY start somewhere around 340 and you could still be on the lean side Since you have it appart anyways.. how do the pistons look? i would go STRAIT back to the dealer if something isnt ok with the engine because of the lean setup.
  21. yep and since sprockets are so cheap i usually use 2 sets of sprockets on 1 chain.
  22. Hey Matt. Man that sucks indeed. but on the other hand you can be verry happy the screw didnt float around freely in your crankcase or transmission. NOW THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN NASTY! I dont think the rebuild has to be that expensive. is your crank still ok? I think new oil at the right level will fix most or your shifting problems, since over the last rides like you said much oil had been drained trough the oil seals. Neutral is always hard to find on a banshee. There is a modification for that: It requires you to modify the shift star. Shifting will be smoother, easier and neutral better to find. + its not expensive.
  23. I think he is lifting the front wheels? Can anybody get a closeup of that pic? :flame:
  24. On my old blaster the keyswitch Broke the contact. so basicly with the key in the ON position it removed contact to ground or something with the key in the OFF position it made contact to ground causing blaster to not start.. I once forgot my key on a day out riding, i disconnected the keyswitch and could ride without my key. this might also be the case for the banshee? See what happens when you twist em together.
