  1. no the rear calipers not even bolted on im waiting for my brake pads to come in, so its not that...i live about 45 min away from pittsburgh, PA make an offer
  2. the quad runs great motor wise revs perfect, the clutches are good but when i go to pull out in first gear its like somebody has a crowbar between the sproket and the swingarm its like the bike is wedged. And the banshee ran perfect before this just needed rebuild but it was an 87 so i decided to do the makeover.....maybe something in the bottom end? i was super careful about everything but does anybody think something is in the bottom end and i cant find nuetral at all, with motor off or running
  3. i just redid the entiire banshee frame up,white plastics, red seat and shroud, 448 piece stainless bolt kit,new chain, and sprockets, new handlebars, dyna fs programable cdi, black frame, black cases, black a-arms, black bumper, black swingarm, all sandblasted, gold wheels, 04 carbs and tors, fresh top end i think .40 over dont rem right now its late lol....not even ridden yet because of the problem....so here it is it will start and run fine needs a little tuning becuase of new carbs but ill go to pull out and it will just rev then die, as in somethings locked up and i cant find nuetral??, its not clutches.....or dont think, becuase it will want to pull out but back tires wont let it...something bottom end Gears maybe but i never did anything to bottom end thats what i dont understand i just simply took out motormounts and cleaned everything had sandblasted top end and painted....so i have no clue and do not want to split the cases so it would be a great project banshee if someone would want to buy it id like to get something new maybe im 17 my dad bought it off of my uncle for my 16th birthday excellent shape for 87...i can try to get pics but id like to get it fixed so any help is appreciated or offers
  4. do you still have the t-5s, willing to buy how much shipping if u still have them anything wrong with them?
  5. i just bought a chain and sprocket set for my 8 banshee im finishing redoing http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=43982 thats the one i got but in blue- the stock sprocket tooth set. and it says 1989-2003 models and i have an 87. should i try to take it back but noone on ebay have a sprocket chain kit for an 87 there all 89-03 should i get a new hub off ebay for cheap or what??? why the change>
  6. Im finishing up my ground up rebuild on my 87 shee and i got almost everything on so i fire it up and the right exhaust is sparking maybe a bad ground or something, i have no clue and its hard to explain help
  7. ok i got it running right but now the right side exhaust everywhere it connects between midpipe and header and silencer and everywhere the bolts go into sparks come out ground maybe
  8. i stripped the 87 down to the frame and went all black and chrome, got 04 carbs off ebay, rebuilt top end, got the bolt kit off ebay, now that the engine and its componets are on, the left cyliner is blowin white smoke every so often and the right side where the mid pipe goes into silencer and where it goes into the head pipe is sparking and everywhere it bolts in i dont have the exhaust collars on yet i just wanted to hear it run....and its doing the sucking noise on the right side every so often??..please help fast
  9. alright thanks zilladude but well can anybody else help out maybe about the drill bit size and whatever else needs to be done? and what do u mean drill and tap to install the idle screws?!
  10. i have an 87 banshee that i am totally redoing from the frame up, im goin to the black and chrome stage and my stock carbs are shot the caps, there are no threads at all i have them bungie tied in..so i got on ebay and saw a set off of an 04 and watched it and went up to around 60 bucks with shipping so i ordered them and got them today now im worried if their gonna work they look kinda different and i dont remember there being a plug like this on my carbs, which im sure their updated since then and my stock carbs and tors are at my buddies garage so i figured i would ask if 04 carbs will work on an 87. but i was also thinking that if anything i could get hte tors eliminator kit!? and would probably solve it...id say i need it anyway.......thanks for the help -josh
