  1. I'm writing this topic on the boat to scotland. Technology rules. I will be visiting a fellow bansheehq-er (tithead) Pics and movies will follow. if i have the oppertunity i will place some of the pictures on my site: Here later all!
  2. IEEEKS sredish m8!! Dont ever do that to me again Misreading the terrain sucks BIGtime and a slight moment of not paying enough attention can have bad bad bad consequenses. Take it easy for a few. Say hi to the wife for me.
  3. ohyeah and the rejetted yfz450 now really REALLY does whoop ass.
  4. All stress marks gone! That heat trick works great! Thanks
  5. Are you sure those are front tires? since 8" is not the stock rim size. 8" is verry small for front.
  6. Thanks both, Lol i actually bought 30 pilots last summer since 25 sounded lean plugs looked good after a check. I try both, but i think the needle will do the trick.
  7. Well if premium is 91 and you shaved your 200cc blaster head to a 19cc dome (compared to 175cc banshee 1 cylinder with a 22cc dome stock) I say fuel. the knock will be predetonition most likely, They dont even have 91 here in europe. its either 95 or 98. I second sredish, do the compression test. *i do know you cant compare a blaster to a banshee*
  8. Hehehe i should come over, to run you over, with that nice jeep in your sig No hard feelings have a beer
  9. I dont have the spark arrester. But the hush kit really does HUSH alot. I noticed no powerloss whatsoever. infact it feels a bit stronger in the midrange but does top off a slight bit earlier.
  10. Sounds like fun boonman I build my own wiring harness to make my banshee street legal. worked good! Only next time i need some thicker wireing. Hey whats that MPH in your sig? banshee top speed? Oh and where can you get all the connectors for the stock wireing harness?
  11. Thanks guys! We have a paint burner (kinda like an advanced hair dryer), Ill try that. So the fenders will turn blue again if you heat them up? Ps: did a cam modification tonight on a yfz450.. i cannot believe how good those things run.. really beserk.. i want one. oh the cam mod was hmm not to impressive might change with yetting.
  12. Eventually every blue banshee out there will start to develop white marks from sagging or rolling the banshee. Is there a way to get the white marks out?
  13. My banshee is starting to develop a bog between 1/8th and 1/4th Throttle, according to the jetting faq this is regulated by the slide valve cutaway. The last thing i changed (some time before this bog started) is the float hight of my carb bowls. The temperature has rized a bit. All my other Throttle positions are fine. I never heared anyone about changing carb slides for jetting. Any workarounds for this? The mods are: -t5's -K&N filters -boyeson reed petals -4 degrees advanced timing -25 pilot jets needle (aftermarket dynojet) in 5th position and 340 mains. Thanks.
  14. Holy shit! That is some serious crashing there! Take care man.
  15. Yep Toomey is awesome. Kim handled my order aswell, she is awesome. I ordered lots of stuff from toomey and she informed me aswell about a backorder. And when the stuff arrived at my doorstep i was missing some parts, I had an email which said those items (magnetic drain plug and some other unimportant parts) where out for a extended period of time. i received a toomey t-shirt as compensation. TOOMEY RUUUUULZZZ
  16. Bush showing his feelings for his potential voters: Go Bush Enjoy
  17. I recently orderd upper a-arm bearings for my 2003 banshee. and have received them some time ago. Ever since i have been arguing with the supplier. I think i have the wrong (lower a-arm) bearings. The bearing/bushings are from "all balls" The all balls website is not up yet and there email is unavaileble. So where do you end up... indeed the allknowing bansheehq, i should have come here in the first place. The sticker on the package says: 12-5374 A-arm brng kit, yfz350 87-03, yfm350 89-03 + yfs200 88-03 + 50-1009 Sounds good. on inspection of the package i found the bushings will fit but the COLLAR consist of 2 parts, 2 parts would be 2 for each lower a-arm side. So after that i pealed of the sticker and under the sticker the package says the following: 50-1009 A-Arm Kit Lower a-arm Yamaha YFZ350 Banshee 1987-03 YFZ200 Blaster 1988-03 YFM350 Warrior 1989-03 YFM660RN Raptor 2001-03 Upper A-arm Yamaha YFM350 Warrior 1987-88 Here comes the question: Do or Do i not have the right A-arm bearings kit? Sorry i'm writing this down as an idiot.. but i'm really done with this, The bearings where provide by a bansheehq member and i still hope to write a positive feedback. Thanks.
  18. i'm waiting for the red wheel to arrive with mail (in the room with all the tubes) red green and blue.
  19. Yep this does sound good indeed. 2 bad i'm over the pond. i'd like to try a set someday. I'll be looking for a sound clip
  20. is the stock needle richer? i'm currently on the 5th grove of my dynojet needles. and my lowend is somewhat slugish aswell. i still have the 25 pilots though. (t5's + boyesen reeds + K&N filters)
  21. maybe the tops are leaking?
  22. AHAhahaha now this is good Go Evil Go Evil
  23. Thanks bigboy i think i have "el cheapo" pack material. Bhought it some years ago for the rm 80.
  24. yep what yamaha350 said.
  25. mix ratio's depend on your brand and type of oil. my mix ratio is 1:32 and this ratio is a good rule of thumb. 1:25 is a bit over oiled but it is what the banshee manual suggests. i sometimes fill my banshee at the gas station and then poor oil in the tank. never had problems.. castrol tts rules mixes nicely. if you ever gonna do that make sure to leave room in the tank for the oil my experience: no lid = stay away from mud and watter. stand would be O.K. but i like to see my AIRBOX clean. that way i'm more sure the air is really clean when it goes trough my engine. i dont really trust that K&N setup i have
