  1. are you just doing the top end or are you ripping into the bottom end as well? If your just doing a top end you dont need to pull the engine. Good luck, and after you get it broken in (when your dad isnt home of course), when he gets home, start it up, pull up onto the lawn, and drop the clutch. Pull up to him and be like, thats for not believing in me.
  2. bump, still need the plastics, preferably red. Uncut fenders, if its cracked its all good, as long as its all there. (except the side pieces cause its for my ims tank)
  3. go there with 2 grand in cash, and if everything is tight on it, eat it up.
  4. do those plastics still have the front fenders? If they do would you consider selling them to me?
  5. I second that! Tank and cylinders are just as described, packaged very well Thanks man
  6. I'll be in Virginia with family that weekend so I'm not gonna be able to go. (damn that sentence really makes me sound like a hillbilly) Better luck next time I guess. Have fun guys, it's a hell of a good time up there. Just remember, a lot of the hills, you gotta commit once you get past a certain point, and if your not sure your gonna make it, you probably wont, so turn off before your quad becomes a pile of rubbish. It's good to have guys already at the top of a hill to grab quads before they start rolling too. You'll get the idea.
  7. where you plan on getting one of those carbon fiber tank covers bronco? You better hope someone pops up that doesnt want it. They go for like 120 bucks a side, and then another 10 bucks for the rubber, and sponge spacer at the dealer. You could buy all new plastic for that price. And for a reference, my white tank plastic cost 10 bucks a side.
  8. send pics to [email protected] I'll post pics for you
  9. plastics need to be cut with them. Does it come with the petcock? 100 bucks for someone that is looking for one is a good price.

    Im Lookin For...

dude, go to the dealer for those rubber pieces. Your talkin about the ones that are like weatherstripping between the tank and tank plastic right? Might as well buy 2 of them....their like 2 bucks I think
  11. I've got a set of Gnarly's I bought with the engine I got off the one guy that lives down in NJ. He said he used to ride with you. Had an all blue shee but went all black with it, lives near trenton. He's buddies with gbf4ever I believe. Trying to think of things I need. Pipes are in good shape, little rusty on the inner outside where you cant see, and has a scratch on the one outside I believe. billet stator cover rear braided brakeline -2 swingarm extended lsr axle 10 inch .190 rims v-force 2's Anything else you think I'd want laying around?
  12. your sprockets were worn differently than your new chain was. So it stretched to fit the sprockets, was to loose, then you tightened it and it had to stretch again, etc. until it wore the chain out. Gotta replace both at the same time.

    Brake Lever

what he said, first time I sat on a 2002 I was like wtf?
  14. heres the stator pics, not the greatest pics, but its all there.
  15. sorry man, didnt even look at the stud tips to see how they were. With the double nut trick, with them just wanting to spin off, put the nuts on with the flat part facing each other, and get 2 wrenches to tighten them together. You should be able to turn out the stud using the bottom nut then. A little penetrating lube down where the studs go into the cases usually hopes soaking on there for a while
  16. That has to be the bumpiest track I've ever seen.....did that 400ex really expect to have a chance?
  17. You are.....if you're gonna lie about who you really are/were.....how you expect anyone on here to buy something off of you. Busted...... how ya doing ninjamaster: ninjamaster Posted: Dec 18 2003, 09:30 PM
  18. nah, thats alright, I've got one for sale myself....but the basket has all the teeth, no wear on it whatsoever. Shame that the fibers are shot, almost brand new, cause the werent soaked in oil and scattered throughout a flimsy toilet paper box with holes all in it from the case edges, and bolts scattered all throughout, probably half of them missing from being bounced out the holes. Kind of hard to build an engine when you're not sure all the bolts are there..... It all worked out though, I got a complete running engine to work with
  19. thanks for the offer mooney....the petcock is actually being included with the tank now. So all I need now is some cheap fenders that still have the fenders attached.
  20. check out the 20" blackwaters. They're a great tire. The realtors are also a good tire, very heavy, and only come in a 22" tire though. It tends to make you sit up on the seat and makes jumping a pain in the ass and easy to nosedive. Holeshots are a good tire when they are new for shooting hills and such, but when you wear off the edges on the tips of the knobbies, they tend to spin a lot more. 20" blackwaters seem to be my tire of choice for your type of riding conditions. Realtors come in a close second, not as predictable powersliding and only come in 22" (god I wish they'd make a 20" that I could put on some 10" rims)
  21. If I were those kids, I'd start throwing rocks into the bed of the truck If I was in the truck I'd, Just throw that bitch in reverse.....or drive through it.....It doesnt look that bad. Wheres a cowboy when you need them to lasso one of those tires.
  22. isnt that memorial day weekend?
  23. I've got a tranny, it'll need bearings though
  24. I'd say the fibers arent to great lookin since they arent sitting in oil. ever hear of Pm......appreciated......really appreciated.
