    looking for jugs!

400 + shipping for the bottom end, 500 + shipping for the extra set of cases I have with it.
  4. sounds exactly what happened to me with my 01 when my piston ring caught the exhaust port. CHECK COMPRESSION. I pulled my head after I checked the compression and all their was was this little chip missing on the top of the piston. I was a couple miles from camp and when the rpm's were up enough on the engine on the way back it felt like it'd fire on 2 pistons, and as soon as i'd let off or pull in the clutch the engine would just die on me and start backfiring and stuff.

I'll drop my price to 325 + shipping. Cylinders came off a 2001 that when I pulled the engine 3 weeks ago the comp was at 120. Reason engine was pulled is because of hole in bottom case. I have a spare engine that I threw in and am gonna part this one out.

    I Need Banshee Stuff

I've got a whole clutch setup that I want to sell in one piece, includes everything (dont know condition of fibers, I'd run new ones), might have the water pump and hardware, I know I have the gear and such, and I have a stator and flywheel
  7. my top line is to long and I dont have it mounted, the T fitting just sits in there. I've been meaning to ziptie it in there so it doesnt move around as much (dont think it really moves anyway), but havent gotten around to it yet. As far as routing it through the frame, I have it running through where the frame comes to a V up above the upper a-arm, and then run along the back of the upper a-arms. I just use zipties, works for me. I'll get clamps one of these days, but i'm interested in making it faster and stuff before these little things get coin dropped on them. Not to mention the fact that a ghost ripped my one brakeline in half the one day when I was trying to get out of this nature made water runoff trench. There was nothing there to catch the thing on.....but it ripped in half somehow. So now there's this big adaptor piece I had pressed on.....it'll work for now.
  8. just make sure you run them across the back of the upper a-arm.....its the safest place to have them
  9. got some pictures of your work?
  10. Where you located? I'd say you could find a good used one with a bunch of stuff done to it for that price.
  11. That's what tearoffs are for!! Now that would be some funny video......extreme polishing at its finest
  12. I couldnt reregister my name Abyss from the old old forums, password somehow changed and its sitting there without a pw.....so I changed it to Mighty_Abyss, a name I've used if I cant get abyss for other things as well, and then I just grew tired of having that one and tried just using . for a name.....and it worked, so now I sit here with the name . It confuses quite a lot of people actually in what to call me.....
  13. with how much you polish you should get a mask to wear, I'd wear goggles too, that shit flies everywhere. How much you looking to get your crank and cylinders sold for? And if you're selling all this stuff off, what do you have in the making?
  14. Run a higher tooth sprocket, run a gear higher, and jet a little lean. If you jet a little lean the only time its really gonna hurt you is if your hard on the throttle for an extended period of time. Back off pinning it a lot and you'll save gas. You gotta have the HP to be able to pull the higher gearing, run a trans gear higher, but it'll save gas, and every time you get a chance, downhill etc all that.....save gas save gas save gas.
  15. Just my opinion, but I'm not very impressed with the Fatty's. They're cheaper than my LRD's but my LRD's off powerband power is a lot stronger, the powerband hit is a lot more controllable and a bigger spread to ride in of where it kicks in, and the top end pull of them is a lot greater.
  16. I'm also from the philly area, and I see you're trying to make this a yearly thing. I'm not gonna be able to go to it this year, but if you plan on going next year as well I can plan on saving for it with me and my girl. I also have 4-6 other friends that may be interested in it as well. Run through the costs and such of everything. I know you had an RV or 2 that you had set up for showers and cooking and all that, which sounds like a great setup. How long do you go for, a week? Thanks man, I'll start getting my (our) shee's ready to head out that way for next year.
  17. those actually look pretty decent. They'd be the hookup with a -2 swingarm setup
  18. whatever you do dont stay at paradise island.....it is literally a shithole.....used to be a dump that they converted in to this christian type camping place (got govt money to clean it up etc) On the other hand, hit up the rockhouse trails, for a banshee they are the best to ride. All the other ones are big looping trails more suited for 4wd quads that can go out all day long. I carried a 2 gal can of gas on my back in a backpack and lightened my load every time we stopped. Bring good hillclimbing tires, I'd say blackwaters would be your best bet. skidplates everywhere is a good idea as well. My kevlar bandits did well down there, bring plugs though, my brand new mudsharks got a hole in them the first time I rode on them. Make sure everything is cherry and reliable on your shee, bring a spare throttle cable and clutch cable and anything you can think of. Also.....make sure not to forget your balls.....your gonna need them

got a set of running cylinders, stock bore, comes with head. $350
  20. dude, I dont know the condition of it because I've never had it on a running bike.....what do you want me to do, pull the flywheel off of mine, pull my stator, put this one on and see if it works? I guaranteed it, and have another one that I can back it up with if for some strange reason it doesnt work. If you really want to check to see if it works than the price is 100 in labor + the original 75 that I offered you Know what.....nevermind.....I dont want to sell something to someone that is going to give me a hard time when I'm giving them a guarantee on it. I was planning to work with you just in case the thing for some reason didnt work. Go look on ebay and see how many guarantees you get that they can offer you another one if it doesnt.
  21. I can get a new one for 5300 out the door, a pair of toomey's for like 300 and tires are a dime a dozen. Just to give you a baseline, its a little high
  22. what do you mean by runs bad?
  23. you didnt hurt the bearings by tightening up the cases. If anything you just hurt the cases. And if its just indents you should be fine. Its when they get all chewed up by a blown bearing or out of round from wear when you start having problems with cases. The outer races will just sit on the case and cover up those holes right? A picture would speak a million words to see what we're dealing with here. I'm saying the crank is fine, wiggle the bearings and check for play, and all in all you should be good to go.
  24. lol, get any emails yet if the adjustable wrench, drill or can of wd-40 comes with it?
  25. Me and my buddy hit up the streets sometimes up where he used to live. All back dirt roads, and some paved, and some other cool little places to ride. Just something to do to open them up and cruise. Every once in a while (like 3 times now), a statie will happen to pass us, or get called or something and we'll have to run. We've got a shed at his parents place that we leave open just in case and can rip right up into it and disappear. There's the Pennsylvania turnpike that runs through the area that we ride and the bridges to cross it are few and far between. There are creek tunnels that run under it in quite a few spots that we can get to and we just head for them. We usually end up heading for this one field, he goes one way, I go another, and whichever one he chases heads for the closest tunnel, and the other goes for the next tunnel down, and then we head for the shed. The 2nd time we got chased we were quite a good way away from his parents, over at this quarry. We got stormed by 4 staties, (someone must've called in and they came up from 15 minutes away at their station). We took off through this one creek, up into a field, wrapped back around to the road where they were ripping up after us, up the one road, down another road, across a field, down another road where there were 2 staties waiting at the field we usually cut across. We went ripping through this one guys yard, off to another road, through the back of the Fire departments yard, through this little park, down this guys long driveway back to the road to be able to get to the other side of the field and we both split up at that point and headed for the shed. He got there before me and had the door shut but heard me coming and opened it so I could get in. We both got out and went over to his front porch sat down and were drinking a beer as a statie went driving down the road looking for us. I'm not proud to run from the cops, but you gotta do what you gotta do. I'm figuring after we got away that first time we got chased, the 2nd time they really wanted us, and we were gonna pay if they got us. We werent tearing up anyones property, it wasnt hunting season, we were just cruising around on back roads where your lucky if you see 3 cars go by in the 2 hours your out riding. It's not like we were riding down main street or anything.
