  4. i do agree that pics would help this thread out quite a bit.
  5. good advice here!
  6. Sounds like a good deal, look it over really good, make sure frames not bent, hop on it and shake it around really good. Check the shocks and make sure there still good and not blown. Other than that sounds like a great deal. Oh check the trans oil to.
  7. You have to chamfer the ports that way the rings dont catch on them.
  8. Well personally i consider heat cycles and retorquing a criticle step in the BREAK IN procedure lol Cody
  9. dealer or farm and sand toys
  10. i believe mull engineering on here sells one. I myself have a pro design, didnt notice a difference with it installed, and i think its more off a reliability mod, but then again i never measured the temp difference. If i had the coin and didnt have one id probably go with the mull. cody
  11. looks like ya got most of the cheaper mods, you could do a water impeller, if ya save up a few more bucks i know you could get a set of carbs. Maybe look at some oko's, not sure how much they are exactly but alot of guys love em.
  12. Hey Billy Mays was the man! This guy was a complete douchebag! This thread was so entertaining, i half hope he comes back for more lol. Oh and sorry Subaru's arnt my thing. Cody
  13. True true, i do know that you run a flat tappet cam in at around 2500-3000 rpm for 30 mins or so on something that has a cam, even though a banshee doesnt have a cam that needs to mate with the lifters, most guys will still let there bikes set in the garage and either let it idle or vary the rpms. I was just throwing out the idea of them throwin a fan in front of it to keep it cool. Break in procedures for these bikes can be debated until everyones out of breath, it really comes down to the owner and what they want to do. Cody sorry this was meant to be an edit

  15. Yum dinner! No there is no way to test the cdi besides swapping it! Glad it seems to run ok now! Cody
  16. id take a nice set of pwk's over pj's anyday just for ease of tuning! Cody
  17. you will be able to turn, just not near as well as if you had a stock length swingarm, what are you building this bke for. If its flat out drag racing, or duning you should be fine with a plus 8, but if you plan on doing alot of trail riding you may want to reconsider that! Cody
  18. ok let me see if i understand you correctly. You want to modifiy the intake and not the cylinders? Cody
  19. Most guys will idle there bikes for 10+ minutes when breaking it in, and i find putting a fan on it will keep the bike nice and cool while running it in for the first time. I guess i feel this way because when you brake in a flat tappet cam on a bbc or sbc you are required to run it at 2500 to 3000 rpm for 30 mins and putting a fan across the rad will keep it cool. I just feel that when brakeing in a banshee engine and letting it run at idle for extended periods of time that putting a fan to push air across the rad is a good idea, although not required! Thanks ' Codty
  20. damn straight lol, i do know my banshee makes a few squeaky squeaky noises, but shes greased good lol. Sorry ive had a few lol
  21. damn that was fast lol, if your buddys havin problems with it backing off try some blue loctite!
  22. Hey jeff i do know when i installed my stator, it did not have a washer, and the nut is specific to the flywheel, it has a flat!
