  2. what kinda power are you guys putting down with these swingers? Havnt got to ride my current setup to much and am wondering if i will have to go to a longer swinger, not really lookin forward to that if i do have to. I ride alot of open trails, and some tight trails also.
  3. Ive also came across headgaskets for the shee that dont have up stamped on them or any indication of what way is up, that leads me to believe that it does not matter.

  13. That stuff is wicked nasty though so be careful when using it.
  14. If your runnin bigger carbs it will keep the float bowl of the carb off from the clutch arm.
  15. You definetly have the right gears for 80, those 18" tires arnt going to help the matter though. I dont know how accurate thos gps's are on a quad but there pretty accurate inside the car, at least the garmin we use. Post up some pics of how you got it mounted, curious to see, wouldnt mind having one on my quad! Cody
  16. Maybe im looking at this wrong but why didnt ya just add more fuel to compensate for the extra oil Cody
  17. Im with jeff on the 80wt and the cold weather

  19. Well maybe im just a big baby but six gear wide open on my quad without goggles my eyes are deffinetly tearing up. Does that mean im doing over 100 lol. Nick if i was going to believe anybody about these claims it would be you, i know you have alot of money in your bike and no need to lie. But i just dont see how its possible, maybe the gun was off? That chart doesnt figure in drag either so, idk? Edit: by drag i mean wind resistance, im sure theres other factors also. Cody
  20. Heavy equipment service engineering technology. My last year and ill have my bachelors Cody
  21. i know it depends on pipes and porting, but whats a safe rpm to rev on of these out to. Something like the setup in my sig. It sounds like stock is right about 9000, with 14 41 gearing im coming up with about 73 mph, which sounds about right.
  22. Maybe the reason that you havnt heard anything negative about the pyramids is because nobody runs them lol. Why not go with something thats proven to work and be reliable vforce! Another thing that scares me about the pyramids is i remember reading on duncans website a claim that they needed to be changed frequently, i dont remember how often it was exactly but i remember it being rediculious.
  23. Dude your better off doing it yourself, take your time and follow the manual to the letter. Ask questions on here. Send your cylinders out to a reputable builder and get some porting with the money your saving doing it yourself, they will also bore it and hone it if need be and set you up with the right pistons. If your worried about the cold get yourself a hundred dollar torpedo heater and you will be good to go. Even with all that stuff i bet youd still make out better than havin the stealership do it, and alot of times those guys at the dealership are morons and dont treat stuff like it should be treated cause its not theres. Plus those no feeling better than being able to tell people that you built it, not bought it! Cody
  24. I hope your joking. Right? Helicoils are stronger than the orignal threaded part.
