  1. As it should be That fireman-hott doesn't have a fuckin clue how to run a business...his sales and mouth have proven that Post up these new pipes when you get them Ray, I might be interested in grabbing a set to try out on the drag bike
  2. Damn, that's a raw deal....how could you know they were junk and still sell them to a fellow HQ'R? That's fucked up!!!! wesw will get what he deserves; if that is the case. I just installed some V-2's and haven't had an issue "yet". I did put loctite on them and they cured for at least a few days before I even fired it up. Hey, badassbanshee479...if you don't mind me asking, how did the reeds messing up cause 750 bucks worth of damage to your jugs?
  3. Welcome to the HQ!!! Go ahead and start you a separate savings for your banshee...before long you'll be wanting to dump more and more money into it!!!
  4. Damn, what a shitty attitude...which was the main reason I bought my out of frames opposed to the rockets I feel for ya Ray...
  5. Who called you a racist? We called you a dumbass and an asshole but not a racist. Oh yeah, I called you ignorant too, but that's not the same as racist either
  6. No doubt...it amazes me how ignorant people can be, and even more so that they're totally oblivious to how ignorant they really are...
  7. Or maybe we should of put "chipdog, he likes to jerk off grown men and tries to flush them down the toilet"
  8. LMAO, that's what I was wondering....
  9. He makes a hell of a lot more sense than you do
  10. I have an aluminum grill in mine... you have to pop out the rivets and make new mounting holes for the grill. It's not perfect but I do have an aluminum grill in my maier radiator shroud
  11. Glad to see ya back Led!!!! Congrats on finding a new job, I was hoping something would come around for you. How long until the little zep head is due?
  12. Yeah, I know...I feel like I've been plummeted in the nuts by Arnold Schwarzenegger
  13. Well, I really hate to say this but I won't be able to make this trip anymore. Between high gas prices, the RV dealership telling me it's gonna cost 700 dollars to put a trailer hitch on my RV, and the 1,500 dollars I've spent in the past month on family "emergencies", I am tapped for cash. Neither my friends or myself can come up with enough money to make it there for this trip. We're just gonna try and get everything setup and ready for a later trip to the dunes, probably early next year....Sorry guys, this is one trip I did NOT want to miss
  14. That sounds really familiar....
  15. I was thinking about going ahead and investing in a set of marvins here soon, being that right now I have 3 options for tracks (asphalt, dirt, and sand). Switching back and forth between the shocks and the solid struts for one race at a time would become a PITA Thanks man!
  16. So what do you guys run (suspension) on dirt for dragging? Would a solid strut setup be too stiff or would I be better off running a shock/spring? I'm open for any suggestions, not too sure what would be ideal for dirt. Thanks!!!
  17. What a fuckin moron The whole time I was watching that video all I could think about was how similar he is to this guy.... http://sherm.20megsfree.com/burgerking.swf
  18. I couldn't agree more...a lot of people look at me like I'm some cynical asshole but come on...these people knew at LEAST 3 days ahead of time to get the fuck out of dodge; this was a cat 5 hurricane, they knew what it would do... I can understand why some of the elderly and those due to health conditions couldn't leave (RIP), but the people who claim they are too poor to leave, BULLSHIT. Bus tickets are cheap as hell and they could have just gone west and been fine. Instead, the stupid shits would rather stay in NO and blame Bush for not helping them "fast enough". Hell, they could have started out on foot and made it somewhere safe had they had the ambition to do something in life. These people bitching are the same ones collecting welfare checks driving Mercedes. My boss says it all the time, I hadn't heard it before he said it; I crack up everytime I hear him on the phone...he'll be like, "OK, fucktard, do you not realize what you're telling me"? The funny part is, it's usually his wife he's talking to I was watching MSNBC the other night and they had this guy, Tucker Carlson I think, and he was interviewing Al Sharpton and Al tried to pull this racial shit about the crisis in NO...It was hysterical, Tucker wasn't having it. My wife and I were sitting there happy as hell that a news reporter would finally stand up to someone's BS on national TV and tell them how wrong they were...it's about freakin time someone does something....
  19. That is a freakin coincidence and a half...I'm doing the same thing, let my gas tank get to half full and then top it off. My wife has a Honda civic that we're driving on the weekends, that thing gets like 30 miles to the gallon. Great minds do think alike!! Shit, I wish....last night, the only gas station that had gas in my area went UP to 3.59 a gallon. I've talked to a few people at the gas stations here that told me they weren't buying as much gas and little to none of the premium gas...most told me they didn't know when they would refill. It mainly affects the little gas stations around, most of the bigger named stations are still getting gas; just not as much or the paranoid folks are topping off their tank after every trip Right now, I'm lucky to find a station that has gas...a lot of Memphis' stations are really low or completely out. It costs the stations more just like it costs us more to buy gas. Granted, some stations gouge a little bit (some a lot) but they raise their prices because the oil costs more...typical inflation but just on something that EVERYONE is affected by which makes it more of an "issue". Oh, and to boycott the gas price increase by not buying any..... sure buddy, I have to earn a paycheck to pay bills, do you expect us to flintstone it to work and back?
  20. LOL, that sucks!!! I feel your pain for sure but can't keep from laughing...intakes in the microwave is always a recipe for disaster. Next time try a small bit of grease. My GRR intakes were tighter than turtle pussy and a little grease helped slide the carbs right in....
  21. A list of your engine mods would be very helpful. Pipes, air filter setup, etc.? Also, are you sure it's actually overheating? Every rebuild I've done it'll smoke a little bit because of the fresh grease and lube I put on all the moving parts...it'll burn off the first few times you ride it, at least mine does. If it is actually overheating, it may have been because you weren't moving fast enough. A banshee cannot sit and idle for extensive periods of time or be ridden lightly for too long. It needs the air flow across the radiator and engine to help keep it cool and prevent overheating. Another suggestion may be to switch to engine ice. It's coolant that will drop your overall temp just from running it. Kept my banshee cooler by 15 degrees on average. As far as it revving up when you pull the clutch in, I'd be willing to bet your needle is sticking in the carb. When you changed the needles, did you grease the slides before putting them back in? It'll help them move better in the carb body if you slap a little grease on them
  22. Sounds like you are definitely on the right track. Fattys were the first thing that came to mind. T5's would work out good too, I rode those through trails for a couple years...If you went with the T5's though, I'd highly recommend dropping your front sprocket down to a 13 tooth to help get the RPM's up quicker.
