I guess that means it was worse than you anticipated......

As if you guys don't already know! I bought a set of Pro Wedge 2's (on wheels) from Jeff and he had them out the door and at my house in 2 days, so I could have them for the dirt drags this weekend. Jeff is a stand up guy, really nice and definitely is helpful, I won't hesitate to call him first whenever I need a part. I can't thank you enough Jeff!!!!!

LMAO, I can see it now.... -
Yeah, I know..it really sucks!! You (in general) try to be nice and include your friends, etc. and then you get crapped on...lol I didn't want to let it piss me off, I know the dunes aren't going anywhere, I figured I'll get another chance to go soon enough!! I definitely hope to hook up with you (and everyone else too) to ride in the near future!! I know you'll be wanting to go out again once you rip that cub around LS

I am unable to for a couple reasons...let's just say that next trip I plan will be by myself without my friends (locally) like I did last year. I made the mistake of inviting my riding buddies from Memphis to go along too, then one of them had their truck stolen, and the other one has a beater for a truck that wouldn't make it on its own, so I made arrangements to try and take my family RV. Got the RV back from my brother (who trashed it), spent a grand on new tires, maintenance, etc., got ready to take it to the dealership to have a trailor hitch put on it and they wanted 7, almost 800 dollars to put the trailor hitch on it. I was about to do it but then the gas prices skyrocketed so we all got discouraged and just gave up. Total cost of the trip including the RV maintenance, trailor hitch, and gas would have totaled to almost 3 grand spent for about two days riding and 18 hours driving. Granted, I could come by myself but knowing how bad my friends wanted to go too I couldn't just ditch them, at least not this time. I wouldn't want them to do that to me so I won't do it to them....aside from the fact that one of those friends helped me out A LOT in getting my banshee together. I just won't be inviting any of them in the future unless they have their own means to get there...trying to accomodate for them has been TOO much hassle and has cost me a trip to the dunes. I'll be heading up to LS probably in the early spring though, whether it's an HQ meetup or not, I gotta ride this banshee in the sand!!!

Awwwww, come on Brad....you gotta enlighten us, this sounds like good stuff! -
I thought about that yesterday....better hope the storm doesn't stall out over LS!!!! It's supposed to make landfall on Saturday and be up in the Oklahoma area by Monday/Tuesday

One last chance before ebay...150 shipped, going on ebay tonight if no takers

That's just great!!! LOL I liked this Q and A... Q: where would you install that piece of rubber on on a yz 125 (1992) i have heard the term power band before but i thought it was the power valve that gives you the power band. A: Power valves are for WIMPS!!! A Powervalve is like putting a governor on a vibrator.... You need a MX'er that has a throttle like a light switch. ALL ON or ALL OFF. If your Yamerhammer can't take it and the crank blows get yourself my Engine repair kit... It'll fix ya up, right quick like.

Are you positive the axle is bent? I know my banshee used to shake at high speeds and it was because of the tires...they're not balanced so rotating at high speeds will cause them to shake a little bit....just something to think about before shelling out the money for a new axle...also wheel bearings could cause it to shake as well. But, if the axle is bent, it's bent...LOL If you're clutch is bad it would definitely prevent you from running at your best, I'm with BigCP, call Jeff at FAST racing when you need a clutch; he's one of the nicest people I've dealt with and has a clutch kit that'll definitely make sure you're hooking!

With +4 timing I would...At least to 100 octane just to be totally safe. A lot of people say to run a 50/50 mix for 160 / 165psi but I'd just go ahead and run straight race fuel anyhow, less hassle

I was just pulling your chain, don't take it personal! Here's a link to some pics... http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...c=49806&hl=done http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...pic=50176&st=30

LOL, I sure as hell hope so!! If you didn't win something is definitely wrong!!
-
I don't think so but I could be wrong, it's always worth asking when you place your order. An ohm test would be a good idea just to be sure, but I think it's safe to say your stator had its better days and is time for a new one. Your coil shouldn't be bad, mine is a 95 (original coil) and still firing like a champ
-
You'll want to gear up higher for those pipes. I was running 15-41 gearing and needed to go up more with my PT mids, those pipes can pull a higher gearing and will help you keep up with him off the line.
-
That is correct. Key word is "shouldn't"
-
Replace your stator Your woodruff key should fall into place, you do not need to beat it in there...if it has to be knocked into place, something is wrong.

It was on Meat's site if I recall correctly, but this is all that's left of his site... http://www.thebansheezone.com/ -
TTT These need to go ASAP, they're hitting ebay tomorrow if no one's interested.
-
I got mine from Grand River Racing for 300 shipped. I don't know if that's his normal price for them though, he sold it to me for that price after I had already spent close to a thousand bucks with him. Unless that swingarm locogato is selling is not long enough, I would pick it up from him. I can guarantee he's not trying to "shitcan" it on anyone
-
Dude, you can get a chrome roundhouse carrier / round tube swinger for cheaper than that stock looking one...I saw that one too when I was in the market for a swingarm, I passed and found a much better deal elsewhere. Not saying his quality isn't good, but the price is a little higher than what you should pay IMHO
-
Just buy this one and help out a fellow HQ'r http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=50502

Best person to tell you that is dlnoss, the guy you'd be ordering it from....when she orders it, just tell her to ask him what he recommends, he knows his heads better than any of us!
-
Unfortunately they're not on rims...I'll PM him about them though, thanks man

I have one set of ITP sandstars for sale, size 20x11x9. These are brand new, never mounted. I'd like to get 160 shipped for them.
