  1. A lot depends on what type of terrain you'll be ridng the most. On sand or dirt, I think the +6 should work pretty good. I'm running a +8 on my ported 350 but that's only because I'm running it on asphalt.

  3. Don't feel bad, I'll be doing the same thing between my banshee and the YFZ 450. How do you think I'm gonna feel leaving the shee I just invested over 5 G's into on the trailer because I can't "dune" with it? Come on Scott, you should try and make this trip especially since you didn't make last year's.....

  7. This may be a shot in the dark but could your problem be improperly inflated tires? I know when mine have lost pressure because it starts pulling to that side If you check everything else and all looks well, check the tire pressure...also could be an "out of round" tire too.

Not trying to tell you this to be an ass or anything but the only REAL way to know what's best for you is to call some of these builders up and tell them what you want out of the engine and let them tell you what they can do for you. Based on what they say, make your decision on who has the best "service" for you. LOL, NYUK hooked me up through Andy at GRR, and in a nutshell NYUK told Andy to port my cylinders to where my ass would pucker when I mash the gas I was told by Andy that with this stock stroke ported 350 and the right carb/air filter/pipe setup that I should be in the 75-80 hp range. That's pretty killer if you ask me. I won't know for sure until I get it on the dyno but I feel confident it will be close. I didn't want to over-do it on this first setup being that I'm not too sure how hardcore I'm gonna get into this...if all goes well, I'll have a cub for next year
  12. I think it is very honorable to stand up for a lady, BUT, sometimes it's best not to get involved in something that really doesn't involve you. Yeah, if you see a girl get smacked in the face don't just sit there and watch, but to fight another guy because he likes your friend and she doesn't like him is just plain retarded. He may be a druggy, psycho, or whatever but it's not your responsibilty to clean up her mess; especially if she is not your girlfriend. Obviously she must have done something with him to make him go bonkers over her...Being that he is "unpredictable", do you really want to get involved in something that could potentially endanger your life over some he said, she said bullshit? Is this "good friend" (the girl) worth getting beat down for? Again, I think it's great to hear about you standing up for the chick but to get beat down once, and then go back for more beatings for nothing is either 1. really, really stupid, or 2. something else is behind all this and she's more than just a "friend". I don't know of any man to take a beating just for the hell of it, unless they starred in Fight Club
  13. I just bought one not too long ago and haven't had the chance to install it. Does it replace the pressure plate or does it go on the outside of the pressure plate? Thanks! njbanshee, I've heard absolutely nothing but good things about the lockup clutches.

  17. That is the first I've heard of this....I can't imagine being able to make a 4 stroke engine sound like a 2 stroke engine but who knows. I'd be interested to hear more info about it though...

  19. I know some chromers but I don't know if I feel confortable letting them dip my arms. You have to get all the grease out of the ball joints and then cover them somehow so they won't be damaged by the chrome bath. I'm just gonna hold out and try and find a used set for a good price.

  21. LOL, I don't think it would last too long with the rangers but I may be wrong...not sure how it is up in the north camp compared to south as far as they go. I know in the south camp if they saw you racing up the blacktop you'd be riding back on their honda 400ex You guys are gonna make me want to break out the street tires now just in case

  23. Not in my case, he lightened mine...I could tell because of the few knicks my flywheel had before, they were there afterwards. boonman is the bomb!! noslo, I'm gonna be running mine on the drag strip.
