  1. It might just be easier to pick up another frame and have it PC'd too. I, personally, wouldn't feel comfortable riding hard on a frame that has been tweaked and then straightened....unless it was gussetted like a champ. That's just me though Hell, NYUK should have a plethera of frames laying around...he probably wouldn't even notice if you snatched one up, lol
  2. Well, that's good news...at least you got something to show for it! Hope all works out for the best! That sucks man, I hope all works out for you too...
  3. That's the truth too...It's what I did, have no regrets at all Granted, I spent quite a bit more than that, but that's only because I went overboard on all the little details and emptied my wallet straight to NYUK's wallet, lol But you can definitely get hooked up with a solid, dependable drag setup for under 1,500 bucks. I'm real happy with how my stock stroke ported 350 runs Once I get my launches down pat I'm looking at a consistent mid 4's in the 300' dirt drags, 285 lb rider; on gas.
  4. It's common to see some shavings on the first few changes. Parts start to wear in and you'll see a few shavings when you drain the oil. As long as there are no chunks of anything in there and your banshee seems to be running well, I wouldn't worry too much about it. If you're on your 4th or 5th oil change (depending on how often you change it) and you're still seeing a lot of shavings then you "might" want to check it out. A few shavings here and there is nothing to worry about though.
  5. You ever get your pipes 1.6i?
  6. Here's what Kerry was really doing..... Downing brews with Lootie!!!
  7. That's a great way to put it into perspective!!!! Yeah, a top end could last you 100 hrs if you baby your banshee all the time. But if you ride it hard, I wouldn't expect a top end to last more than 50-60 hours. I'm not saying that you'd have to go through all the trouble of having the jugs bored and replacing the pistons, but definitely needs to be re-ringed....which is all deuce is trying to point out
  8. Moving the needle is not a bad thing, I just wouldn't do it until after you see what it runs like with the pipes on there. Different pipes like different settings, as long as your plugs are good it doesn't matter what needle setting you run.
  9. If you're running at 280 now with no airbox, I'd say try a 320 to start off with...280 sounds lean to me but your elevation / location may have a role in the lower jet sizes. If you haven't installed the K&N pod filters then 340/350 sounds about right to me. I wouldn't mess with the needle until AFTER you try the pipes out. Did you get your pipes?
  10. PM John19, he's been looking for a set for a LOOOOOONG time
  11. Swingarm bearings can be a pain in the ass if the bearing is totally shot. Meadows, Are you talking about the pivot bearings or the carrier bearings?
  12. That explains everything!!!
  13. I think that question's on all of our minds....the entry post has been removed, where is the winner listed?
  14. Try lowering your gearing, maybe go one tooth smaller in the front. You have to have a lot of speed by the time you hit 6th to keep it in the powerband the whole time.
  15. New price...100 bucks + shipping, these need to go. Brand new, never mounted. I'm sending them out the same way I got them from Rockymountainatv....
  16. LOL, it always kept my friends from trying to ride my banshee...half of them could barely even pull the clutch in when I ran all 6 aftermarket springs
  17. PM FASTOYS (Jeff) and he'll get you squared away, great guy to deal with
  18. How about... Two Ton Turd or.... Tyranasorous Turkey Titty
  19. I agree...especially when you have to buy something else because the maker/seller of the pipe you want is ripping people off left and right. There are not a whole lot of options for inframe drag pipes...
  20. Duh, duh, duh....another one bites the dust!!! Truly sorry to hear you guys having problems with getting your pipes that you paid an arm and a leg for....I'm so sick of seeing bullshit salesman, they should have their hands cut off; what they did was stealing!!! I'm not sure what to think about Ray anymore...seemed like he was the man trying to make it right, but from what I'm reading it sounds like he's become as crooked as fireman. And for TTT.... Tickle Tantalizing Testicles
  21. I remember last year in late October it was a little chilly at night but the days were around 70/75 degrees. I'm not worried about the weather temp wise, that's what extra jets, a nice fire, and a warm jacket are for!!! LOL
  22. Only weekend I could go would be the 11th-13th of November...boss is a no-go on giving me any more vacation days this year, I'm off Friday the 11th for Veterans day, could make it up there that day and stay until Sunday.
  23. I got two billet LED taillights (450 and banshee) and have had no problems out of either of them. Are you guys sure you had the polarity correct when hooking them up? I heard reversing the polarity even just for a second will mess up the LED's
