  1. The weekend of October 1st sounds good to me....
  2. The cardboard around pants hangers works good too.. We use to fill the ends with candle wax. Lots of fun!!!
  3. LOL, sorry...I had to!!! Carry on, nothing to see here Who's down for riding at Lake Murry, OK??
  4. We use to make potato launchers out of PVC pipe. Doesn't sound like much until you actually get the chance to fire one My favorite firework...M-80's and black cats.
  5. What ratio of gas/oil are you running? 24:1,32:1,40:1, etc.?
  6. Don't buy new pistons without getting the cylinders bored and make sure you buy the right pistons to fit the new bore. Don't just buy a set of pistons and throw them in there. If you're gonna take the top end apart, you might as well go through the bottom end and check out that hole you're mentioning...see what's on the other side of it. It would really suck to put a new top end on there and have something in the bottom end let go because you didn't check it out. Your choice, I'm always one to be "better safe than sorry"
  7. If he knows how to ride, you're gonna get smoked...Sorry, but true
  8. Man, if you have over 7,500 bucks in hydraulics someone ripped you a new ass.... http://www.redshydros.com/id26.htm
  9. That's about how much you'd pay for a set of PT chrome pipes, or Trinity's pipes chrome. Andy builds some awesome drag bikes and really seems to know his shit; he built NYUK's bike if that tells you anything. The welds on his pipes are really clean and solid, I was very impressed by the quality of his work when I got my out of frames.
  10. He bought a swingarm off of me, sent the payment immediately and even gave me a call to let me know the swingarm made it there OK. Would do business with him anytime; really nice guy to deal with.
  11. You have a PM
  12. Agreed, if you went to 40:1, it would make your mixture even more rich with gas.
  13. I'm gonna jump on this bandwagon and agree with everyone above....I had the same thing happen to me, changed the gauge, compression was right where it needed to be. Also, when you're kicking it over, are you holding the throttle wide open? Are you checking the compression when the cylinders are cold or warm?
  14. LMAO, better on the net than in person... I don't call myself bigboybanshee for nothin dEcon, I wasn't trying to be foul, I just couldn't help but think that your previous post had more info in it than I ever remember seeing about PT pipes...and it was your post I hope tats can give you the numbers you're looking for!!
  15. This was taken from the previous post... As well as this...answers your question about the portwork this one too... and then you got this reply... The ONLY thing I don't see in the other post that you asked was what HP and torque numbers tats had on his engine. You might want to send him a PM about that.... Remember, the search button is your friend...
  16. Didn't you already ask this question? http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...hl=pt+high+revs
  17. I know the bearclaws are made by Kenda, I use to have a set when I first got my banshee. Great tire!!
  18. Would you be interested in PC'ing mine? I've seen that IR light you're talking about on Eastwood's site, was thinking of getting one down the road but wasn't sure how well they worked...
  19. Well I definitely think I can rule out the PC'ing...seems like chroming them would be a much better option. Thanks for the info guys!
  20. This is good info guys, keep it coming Thanks for the help!
  21. I hear mixed opinions on whether or not you can chrome or PC stock a-arms, and I want to know if it's possible for either. For powdercoating, I hear the reason you can't get them done is because of the ball joint (not being able to remove it)...something about the heat from the oven will mess it all up. Is this true? If it is, what's the reason? I know the rubber boot would need to be removed but would the heat really do that much damage to the ball and grease? And for chroming (if it's possible), how would you go about not getting any chrome in the ball joint, etc.? Can the chromer cap off the ball joint to prevent it from getting covered? I would imagine if any of the chrome were to get in the actual ball joint it would be useless...right? Reason I ask these questions is mainly because I'm REALLY torn on what I want to do with my a-arms, and I was hoping to get some solid info about what I can or can't do and why...I'd hate to paint them and find out later I could of had them either PC'd or chromed. Buying aftermarkets with removable heim joints is not an option right now for me...I can't afford them after buying everything I have for this drag project Thanks for any help/facts/ideas!
  22. Spoken like a true HQ'r! I totally agree with sredish. Engine Ice is the shit, dropped my overall temp by 15-20 degrees
  23. I'm the same way...if I know they can afford to fix it and are willing to pay, then they can ride it. If they can't afford it, then they don't ride it.
  24. That's the first thing that came into mind for me...
