  1. Hey guys, I have an 01 Banshee with FMF Gold series pipes, Pro Flow with foam filter, Stock bore and head, stock reeds and cage, stock carbs and stock timing. My elevation is +1200 feet. My bike runs best with stock jets 220/25 and the needle on the 5th clip. Now when I read all these forums and some pipe manufactures recomendations I should be around 280 main and stock 25 pilot. Has anyone ran there bike with these pipes and filter & the stock jets and just moved the needle up? Oh ya, I run the stock air box with the lid on and snorkle off. Any suggestions would be great thanks.
  2. I have a stock banshee motor, stock carbs & air box, just added FMF Fatty's & power core silencers & some boysen reeds in stock cage. I do all types of riding (trails/track/dunes). Anyone know about what jets & needle settings I need to start with. Riding in mid missouri, I weight 180 lbs. Thanks for any help.
  3. how about a 2001 stock good shape banshee and $2000..
  4. Well I tried another gauge, that was the problem. I have 125psi on my buddies gauge. My Snap-On gauge finally junked out. I think I will try to replace the valve on it, its 15 years old. signed: big gauge dumby.
  5. I will try a different guage tonight. I check it with cold cylinders throttle wide open & kicked until guage stops rising. Crazy thing is, new top end, same comp And yes it starts and runs fine I will be back tommorow with conclusion.....
  6. Hey guys, I am new, thanks for all the info shared in the forums. My 01 Shee had 80psi comp so I overhauled top end. Still ran good. cylinders & pistons looked perfect when I took it apart. I put new Wiesco pro lite kit back in std bore had the machine shop hone & check clearances all was good, I put it back together. Now, I still have 80psi comp, wasssup? What should I do next? It can only be in the top end right? Sorry, Long Life story!
