  1. That really sucks man!!! Sorry to hear about your troubles....
  2. Oh, OK...THANKS! Could be but the only way to find out is to ride it. If the fresh plugs don't fix it you might want to consider bumping up your timing if you haven't done it already
  3. Well, did you change your plugs? And who is Moto Tassinari?
  4. Ebonics must be making it's way around these days....I'm seeing it everywhere!!!
  5. Bump, today is the last day, tomorrow it hits ebay....
  6. Just fyi...this will be up here until Sunday, then it's hittin ebay. Gotta go soon!
  7. Awesome! Those T5's are pretty loud, my neighbors were so glad when I moved Hope all goes well this weekend!!
  8. That's good to hear!! I still don't think your gas had anything to do with it I think you need to get out there today and rip the shit out of the banshee; show her who's boss....LOL
  9. Interesting, I haven't heard of that before...but am sure someone on here knows what it is or why it's there. Sorry man!
  10. Bought this swingarm and found out it wouldn't be long enough for the engine I'm building. It has never been used or bolted up, just shipped to my house. It was made by Grand River Racing and accepts a stock style carrier.
  11. Fuck yeah!! I knew you'd get her running right...I'll be willing to bet that spitting from the left pipe is from so much raw fuel being dumped into the pipe; it's probably working its way out now that it's running like it's supposed to. When you swapped the reeds, did you flip them over?
  12. Post a pic of it if you can...it's kind of hard to mentally picture what you're trying to describe
  13. Outstanding! You do, but like I told you before, there is no rush. I'd rather wait until you do get it tuned, etc. so you feel confident with your purchase I know you're good for it
  14. LOL! If I were you, go ahead and flip the reeds before you swap them just in case the problem is with the reeds...you wouldn't want to install them and bolt everything up just to find out you need to take them off again and flip the petals....make sense? Good luck to ya, I got my fingers crossed!
  15. FMF fattys and Pro circuits are the first ones that come to mind. I hear DMC makes a killer pipe too.
  16. That's awesome!! Congratulations man!!!
  17. I would imagine if the plastics are trashed, there are other things wrong with it....he probably never changed the oil, cleaned the filter, etc...If you look hard enough you could probably find another one for a similar price in better shape. Just my opinion
  18. Damn man, you're not having any luck with this!! Don't know if you flipped your reeds yet but did you try swapping the cages from one side to the other when you pulled and checked them? When I got a circle clip stuck in my cage (ironically it was the left side) it did the same exact thing yours is doing. I'm not saying that you have something stuck in the reed, but that gap between the reed petal and the cage can definitely cause issues. The gap from the clip stuck in my cage was a little less than the diameter of a dime and it caused it to run like shit...and when I pulled my plug it had unburnt fuel on it as well, simply because the reed being stuck open dumped too much fuel in the cylinder causing it to misfire. When you rev it up, does the misfire sound like it's going away or is it constant through the RPM range? I really don't think your gas is the problem. Just trying to throw some ideas out there to stir up some thoughts
  19. I like the replies I see in this thread!!! My GRR out of frames just showed up on the front door today!!!
  20. What is your compression looking like in each cylinder? If your plugs look right then it shouldn't be jetting....
  21. None really, it's pretty simple...just follow the instructions in the clymers manual and you shouldn't have any problems at all. Last I remember all you need (tools wise) are the common screwdrivers and a few sockets; torque wrench if you want to tighten everything to spec.
  22. If the 450 has a pipe and filter; jetted properly and he is a good rider...he'll probably beat you if all you have is a pipe and boost bottle. You're gonna need more than shaving a few pounds here and there. Take ellison's advice, get a port job, probably cheaper than buying the wheels and axle and you'lll notice a BIG difference in power.
  23. I call my wife deep throat sometimes She earned it though, I don't know about that FBI guy; makes you wonder what he did to get his alias
  24. If you don't ride in wet conditions then just take the airbox lid off. If you do run wet terrain, leave the lid on and you can use those vents to give it a little extra air. The only "perfect" jet kit is where you buy a bunch of jets and start the trial and error process. No one can tell you exactly what jet to run in your machine, each one is different to a certain degree. What works in one banshee may not work in the one sitting next to it. Oh yeah, I would go with the T5's
