if you don't have a modded shift star ,you could try getting yours modded or buying one.also check your shift shaft to make sure its ok and adjusted right.you'll need to pull the clutch cover to check that the shift shaft is adjusted properly.

i agree with the 28 pwk's.they are a great carb for stock to lightly modded shee's.

yep i have to say in the quarter you'll get beat.i have a v45 magna which iss a 750 and i can beat a banshee in the quarter mile pretty easily.just a little side note ,when honda came out with the v65 magna it was the fasted production bike right off the showroom floor for 10 years.it would run the quarter mile in 10 seconds flat .it was an 1100 cc .

wow,now this is bringing back some memorys from the past and my childhood days.lol you guys probally never had the "duck and cover drills" in school or remember seeing fall out shelters everywhere you went.back in the 60's i think that the usa was as scared of what russia might try as russia was of what we might try.now that i'm older and think back on what the experts of the time thought would save alot of our asses all i can say is i'm glad neither us or russia weapons against each other because i'm pretty sure what they thought might save us would of failed.i also believe that most of the hype came out of fear from one another because neither country really knew the other.

i'm planning on being there since i only live a stones throw from mountain ridge trails where they're holding this years event . they're not calling for rain on saturday or sunday but there is a chance of scattered thunder showers friday.i agree last year was a blast.we had 1 1/2 -2 hr drive and we were pretty tired when we got home.we ran in the drag races and the sons passion x3 ran pretty much non-stop from the start of the drags till the end of the drags at 3 in the morning.we were pretty amazed it held together all night with no problems.he was the overall winner for drags.went unbeaten in regular drags and was unbeaten again in the open or run what ya brung class.

i'm over 100hp ,over 100mph and i still care about every thing that i did when i started riding way back 40 yrs ago.most of those things i care more about.

pm bkabina on here ,he can tell you a secret about modding them .i know because he has his modded and it was a huge improvement.i guarentee there is a mod you can do to them.

i agree it depends on how and what type riding you do.remember the more compression you have the less topend you have.the higher the compression also comes the need for higher octane to help take care of detonation.as for a welded crank i believe trueing and welding crank is a great idea in any banshee whether its stock or highly modded.

in my oppinion i don't believe we need an age limit for members and people that want to be a member.i do believe however the people that are members should watch what they post and the type of language they use in they're posts.i have seen about as many stupid childish posts from so called adults as i have from kids on here.i believe also if we had good moderators that do what they are supposed to it would be a great help to the site.yes chase i remember just not to far back when you yourself were posting some pretty stupid stuff.you along with others have gotten on brookes case because she has no banshee and does'nt post technical help about banshee's,and there has been other members attacked for stuff i feel was bs.just do a search on some of the members posts and then decide.we have 1 or 2 that only post mostly when they can bash someones religous believes.others post just to bash people in general.some even post alot just to advertise a bussiness.theres alot of members thats been here a year or so and racked up alot of posts and i bet only 10 percent of they're posts were to help someone.so its not fair to cut someone out just because of they're age.i bet theres more adults on here with no morals than there are kids.just my 2 cents

mostly it depends on your porting ,how well you get them jetted and such.it will probally run with the 36's but i doubt you'll have the reponse and pull that you have with the 34's.the bigger you go on your carbs the more it takes from your lowend torque.bigger carbs can however help out on topend.just my 2 cents

i agree with the making stupid topic posts.i have also been here awhile and on a couple other sites awhile and have taken notice to the fact that when a new person joins and racks up alot of posts in a very short time such as you are brandon they usually can't be trusted.if you go back and do a member search ,i think you will see what i'm talking about.you can make all the posts you want and if they are stupid posts or posts that just try to stir trouble you won't get very far with the honest and upstanding members here.

i will say also a huge part of the out come in any race is the riders skills.a good rider with 50 hp is capable of beating a bad rider with 100 hp.this and chassis setup are most of the time overlooked.most guys seem to think its all about motor and hp.

first off we're not to fond of pro x pistons,they tend to be heavier and a bit harsh on the cylinder walls compared to wiseco's.all we use are wiseco pro lites.if it were me with the distance your running i would gear it so it launches good in 1st but not so low that it spins to much and i would use all the gears if i needed to.i would'nt worry about only using 1-4 or 2-5 or what ever.i think your gonna find that running the pro wedges you'll have to launch in 1st and use as many gears as you need to.it seems to me your trying to use the least amount of gears you can which is all right but sometimes it takes more gears than you want to use.its tough to only use a couple gears once you get over 300ft. remember with the pro wedges when you get them turning with the way they swell up it will be like running higher gearing.
