  3. same here,my hoosiers say dirt right on them also and hook like they're velcro, lol
  4. in my oppinion stock ported cages with carbon tech reeds are better choice.cost less run just as good or better and the cages last a hell of alot longer.i have a set of g3's with the carbon fiber reeds and they perform great for me.
  5. :yelrotflmao: b's 4 mill passion cub eats up them cheetahs along with other 7 and 10 mill strokers and he weighs any where from 45 to 70 lbs more then the other riders.
  6. keep the harley you can get back most of what you got in it.a shee is a bottomless money pit. :yelrotflmao:
  7. i'm at 2500 ft also and ran 34 pj's for awhile on a 358 stock cylinder, stoke stroke with a big reed conversion and +5 timing and 115 octane 175 pds compression .i ran del needles in middle clip ,148 mains and 42 pilots and air screws 2 full turns out.
  8. if you do need a new inner hub i'd just buy a new one .i just bought one a couple weeks back from local yamaha dealer and it was only $30.00 new.then you know its good.
  9. not suggesting its a reed causing no fire but maybe its firing and its drowning the plug with gas or maybe it is'nt getting gas to that cylinder.
  10. if your getting spark ,did you check the reeds and such? .sounds like it may be a fuel supply problem or air supply problem to that cylinder.
  11. yeh i run 35mm airstrykers now.they are a great carb but seem just a bit tougher to get jetted in than regular pwk's.they come with richer slides in them and in the way they are designed with the fins and such in them they atomize the fuel better so they require just a bit richer slide and such.
  12. i've seen a clogged tank vent cause it. i took my cap apart and removed the stuff like the little steel ball and such and put it back together.seems to allow for a better gas flow.however you must make sure you have a hose attached to the cap and that its long enough so water don't get in through the vent.
  13. heres an ez pull at a good price:ebay link click here
  14. hey do you have an axle carrier to fit a stock swingarm ? has to be the newer style.if ya do shoot me a pm with price shipped.
  15. is the porting in the cylinders still stock?
  16. i have two 35pwk airstrykers i'll sell for 235.00 shipped.they are in good condition but 1 carb should have a new cable holder.the holder is 13.00 from cpw.i been using it as it is but should be replaced.paypal only

    needles

anyone have any 6-2 needles for lectron carbs they'd part with? i need 2 of them asap! i could also use 2 DDC , DDE or DEE needles for 35 pwk's .if you got either of these let me know.
  18. yeh i do agree that the cub will cool better due to the fact that they don't have the steel sleeve to hold the heat.however i myself prefer the sleeve over the nikasil.the nikasil does hold up fantastic in most cases ,however get a coolant leak into the cylinder and chances are very good that the nikasil could start peeling.
  19. stock cylinders with a good port job are quite capable of beating cubs.even with the 68mm bore and 58mm stroke cub setup, a set of stockers with good drag port and 4 mil crank is still capable of beating the cub.to many people under estimate just how well stockers can run.however price wise the cubs are a much better way to go.i do believe the noss head helps with cooling more than a pro design head and stock head.
