  1. most certainly can.
  2. if your unsure i'd just take the cylinders and pistons into a local shop and have them checked .don't bore bigger unless you have to because there is no real power gain by boring bigger.all it does is cause your cylinders to need resleeved sooner.
  3. if your only running 400 ft , i'd probally run a 15 at the most on the front if your rear is 42.a 14 may also be good. a +10 swinger with the mods you have listed sounds like it's to long.i'd run a +6 at the most if it were me.different pipes would also help, such as fmdf fattys or gnarleys.they are both good low end pipes especially the gnarleys and you can usually pick them up pretty reasonable.just my oppinion
  4. i don't know about that wes i used to run a an all stock unported motor at the drags when i started .then i put the super stock pistons from vito's in it ,a coolhead with 18 cc domes and 35mm pwk's and fmf's and it ran very well.the super stock pistons made a big difference for me.
  5. the realitors are kind heavy for that little zuki are'nt they?lol,j/k.on the tamers i took out every forth row.they hook pretty good.yeh if its like last year we made need to run slicks, lol.i have'nt got to check out progress on track yet but i'v been told they are still grading and leveling the track.
  6. i think you'll have to feather the clutch starting out .you have a 16 on front ,what about the rear?what is the length of the track you plan on running?you might do decent in the eigth mile but in the quarter you'll be geared to low.
  7. hey joe,i bought a set of the 501 ohtsu radials like come stock on the 400ex's.they work awsome at the drags.i still run the turf tamers most of the time though on mine because my son tried the radials and i think he likes them also because he keeps putting them on his.lol.he said the radials seem to bite harder on the hard pack better than the tamers.he also runs pro wedge 2's alot on his.from what i'm told they are still doin work on the drag track for the drags at quadfest.
  8. hey butch what ya doin ?you gonna run semi pro classes again?jetting should b about the same but if it were me i'de bump the jets up a size or 2 and go from there.you might think about a bit bigger carbs also with the coolhead and domes.i'll see ya at nationals at bbdr hopefully.not sure about thunder valley though.
  9. in my oppinion ,the 421 cub setup with a good drag port is probally the best overall drag setup when you compare cost and performance outcome. you could also build a 10 mill for not a whole lot more than a 7 mill.
  10. if he can only get 3 more horses with drag port over his clean up port then i think either he is holding back or he should'nt be porting. yeh right your backing a guy that says theres only 3 more horses in a drag port over a clean up . bkabina's setup is doin exceptionally fine, like he said all you seen was a pic not vid from practice.i can guarentee b's setup is running the way you could only wish yours would run if you were running a 4 mill cub on gas in a stock chassis.with b's setup i just ran a 500ft dirt drag and beat a hybrid 4 wheel drive quad with a 250 hp arctic cat engine that runs a consistant 5.5 et and crossed the finish line a bike length ahead of him.i also beat an rdz triple exhaust port shee running alky that runs a consistant 5.9 twice and by 2 bike lengths.so mr 2bzy2p instead of mudding up a guys post and trying to cause trouble why don't you get a little more education in building and running a real bike.by the way if you get up this way let me or b know i'm sure we can manage a race if ya want. sorry bigred about posting my thoughts in your post but this guy is a jerk in my oppinion.
  11. lol,i know what you mean by both the older and the morgage.
  12. go with who you want but i have to say my son had one of passions 12 port strokers and it was very strong running and ran with some of the fastest bikes at the drags.my son has since moved up to a 421 cub setup and it has got to be one of the best running 421 cubs outr there.i ran it at the 500 ft dirt drags on gas and beat a rdz triple exhaust port running alky and i beat him with ease.i raced a totally insane running quad that was running special built 4 wheel drive and a 250 hp 1000 cc arctic cat motor and i beat him also by at least a bike length.without a doubt jim at passion is a man that knows what he's doin and can make a banshee scream or probally any other two stroke for that matter.give him a call and talk to him. 918-232-3950
  13. an overide ,thats cool .now the banshees better be on they're toes.lol.they're supposed to be gonna be using an all new lighting setup.that chick was a dizzy little thing.lol the place they're having quadfest this year is only a couple miles from my house.i'm gonna be stopping in there and checking on the drags and track info in the next few days.i'll let you in on any info i get .
  14. hi joe ,i'll be looking for ya.i wanna see that zuki kick some butt.you gonna run it on alky this year?from what i'm told they're building a drag track just for Quadfest.
  15. good for a few laughs: IDIOTS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD: I live in a semi-rural area. We recently had a new neighbor call the local township administrative office to request the removal of the Deer Crossing sign on our road. The reason: "Too many deer are being hit by cars out here! I don't think this is a good place for them to be crossing anymore." From Kingman, KS. ______________________________________________________ IDIOTS IN FOOD SERVICE: My daughter went to a local Taco Bell and ordered a taco. She asked the person behind the counter for "minimal lettuce." He said he was sorry, but they only had iceberg. He was a Chef? Yep...From Kansas City! ______________________________________________ IDIOT SIGHTING: I was at the airport, checking in at the gate when an airport employee asked,! "Has anyone put anything in your baggage without your knowledge? To which I replied, "If it was without my knowledge, how would I know?" He smiled knowingly and nodded, "That's why we ask." Happened in Birmingham, Ala. _______________________________________________________ IDIOT SIGHTING: The stoplight on the corner buzzes when its safe to cross the street. I was crossing with an intellectually challenged coworker of mine. She asked if I knew what the buzzer was for. I explained that it signals blind people when the light is red. Appalled, she responded, "What on earth are blind people doing driving?!" She was a probation officer in Wichita, KS ___________________________________________________ IDIOT SIGHTING: At a good-bye luncheon for an old and dear coworker. She was leaving the company due to "downsizing." Our manager commented cheerfully, "This is fun. We should do this more often." Not another word was spoken. We all just looked at each other with that deer-in-the-headlights stare. This was a bunch at Texas Instruments. ________________________________________ IDIOT SIGHTING: I work with an individual who plugged her power strip back into itself and for the sake of her own life, couldn't understand why her system would not turn on. A deputy with the Dallas County Sheriffs office no less. ____________________________________________________ IDIOT SIGHTING: When my husband and I arrived at an automobile dealership to pick up our car, we were told the keys had been locked in it. We went to the service department and found a mechanic working feverishly to unlock the drivers side door. As I watched from the passenger side, I instinctively tried the door handle and discovered that it was unlocked. "Hey," I announced to the technician, "its open!" His reply, "I know - I already got that side." This was at the Ford dealership in Canton, Mississippi! _______________________________________________________ STAY ALERT! They walk among us .

  18. just wanted to say i sold g-rider set of intakes and he paid fast and seems to be a stand up guy.
  19. not to start any sh..,but ebc uses the same fibers as was used in the fj 600 street bike fibers and the fzr fibers.they are probally the toughest and best lasting fibers out there.unless you are pushing upwards of 80 hp and drag racing ,the tusk and barnett clutches work just fine providing you also use the correct oil in your tranny and the pressure plate ,clutch boss and other parts are in good shape.most guys change they're clutch fibers and steels but don't even give any thought to how much the other parts are worn.i my self installed new fibers and steels only and had the clutch slip after i got it together only to find out it was a worn pressure plate causing the trouble all along.
  20. i was pretty sure billet and sandbanshee32 were either the same person or workin together .i know that from the posts and dealings on ps ,sandbanshee32 and k&a customs were the same.thats why i posted the negative under sandbansee32 good seller and also under the for sale post where he was trying to sell frames .i found it pretty strange that a person gave thumbs up to sandbanshee32 the same day they registered and then started racking up posts.i think that one time a person screws over another member his alias along with his ip address should be banned .it would make it alot harder for the crooks to get on the site.
  21. yeh seems like he's makin alot of enemies.
  22. pm sent
  23. i don't know about that.i'd be careful dealing with "sandbanshee32".heres a link to a thread on planetsand.click for link
