got to take mine out for a rip today.....deffinatly a strong engine!! was breaking it in and the jetting was off so i didnt get to open it up, but i can tell you that the midrange is very very strong!! deffinatly an improvement over my ported 350!! hopeful this weekend i can get it jetted and broken in so i can hit the "terror zone" ill post the results....as if everyone isnt already sold on jims strokers anyway
LOL! those baby seals really do soak up the oil well! would make great shop towels and would be way better than kitty litter for spills! perhaps even a new kind of super oil filter could be made. I think you are really on to something!
i would love to hit the dunes at least once in my life. but until i have the time and money to drive across the whole country its not going to happen! someday i hope
it would rev out waaayyy too fast and all you would to is spin. In my opinion lowering the gearing isnt the best want to get more low end. Bumping up the compression will help some, but the best most proven way to get lowend out of a banshee is to use that lever on the left side of the bars
PATIENCE!!!
AND THIS IS THE WRONG FORUM...
well when boonman gets back he can reply to blueshee, move this topic, and delete your double post! hes gonna be busy!
new oil does alot for shifting! other than that banshees dont shift well stock, I cant tell if you problem is something wrong or just the usual shiftng problems.
I dont feel safe on a machine with a thumb throttle, thats right i said thumb throttle. without my thumb wrapped around the bars i feel like im going to fall off, expecially when braking. I made my bro get a twister on his 310R so i could ride it
It comes to around $8,000 in partsplus the mere $1800 i paid for it All the money for parts was spent in 1 year too I was just running some prices yesterday and figured theres another $2000 in parts i want for it
The rod has nothing to do with making up for the stroke. A stroker plate or cut head is needed for a stroker no way of getting around it. Like they said the long rod is just to make things last longer and supposably makes the power curve broader. The wiseco 795 pistons are now used to compensate for the long rod instead of blaster pistons now.
i think the new ones have steel inserts. If they dont they they suck. My brothers wore off his in about 3 months. They also fit like crap and woble. POS in my opinion
