  6. whatever riding boots you choose will have to be broken in..... however, the army taught me the best way to break in leather boots. mink oil and heat. get yourself a tub of mink oil, paste it on th boots real thick. now you can do one of two things: 1. if the boots have plastic buckles, i put them in a black garbage bag and sit them out in the sun or next to a heating vent for a week or so.... 2. if metal buckles, i just throw them in the oven at about 250 to 300 for a few hours. trust me, by the time you finish this method....the term "break in" will no longer be part of your vocab.
  7. dynoport 2 into 1, cv2 35mm, 195 main, 45 pilot, k&n with box(no lid), 100 to 200 feet elev. what is the plug color? after 6th WO ? the excess oil could just be too high a ratio of premix? just my 2 cents, anyone else ?
  8. i have the trinty 35mm setup. i am currently running a 195 main 45 pilot, and the needle in the 4th clip up. i ride at about 200 ft. 927 @ 40:1 i do have differnet pistons and a shved head though. hope this helps.

  11. just finished my winter rebuild. everything turned out great.....except for the vibration. it seems like the bike vibrates more now then it did before disassembly. i have checked and rechecked all torque specs and everything else i can think of. i did go from stock pistons to vitos power pistons. should i notice a change? any info or thoughts would help. thanks matt b
