    I use a hacksaw blade with duct tape wrapped on one end for a handle the file and sand the cut smooth. But there are plenty other ways. Stock bars are very weak and i think they are too high and swept back too. Id recomend a renthal bar with a MX bend (CR high and CR low are popular), it really makes a difference

    first i would cut those front fenders off and only then would consider some minor engine mods, like a new head, timing, flywheel lightning, reeds, then at least get new front shocks, good suspension is hard to beat even with a good motor. maybe some good handle bars

    man id love an nitro rc car, but i nkow if i got one id spend waayy to much money one it, like the shee. Id get the rusler too, i dont need 4wd and monster tires

    Im pretty sure thats an old school power band installer. Id pick it up, they are pricless. it may not work with the newer purple and kevlar bands though

    haha i nkow what you mean, all my pivot points are covered with dark gunk. takes forever to clean off too. I just say it looks cool and leave it

    i was in home depot yesterday and saw some stainless all thread 3/8" i think. I would think that would hold up pretty good

    Was just looking at the closout section at rockymountainatv.com lots of last years stuff cheap! tech6s for 180 and ceet covers for 30 and other stuff...thought id let everyone incase they want to buy things

    i think what he posted is right, but in order for something to be for closed course its has to have no lights, 10" of wheel travel and no spark arrestor. So there will be 2 stroke MX bikes but no banshees and blasters. man i would love to find someone who works for the epa and kick them in the ball sack

    Well i figured if its on a rubber mounted plastic tank it would cut the vibration pretty good.

    something similar happned to dana creech in H5. gas like came off on a big freestyle jump and he got screwed.

    IS there a loss of chain adjustment with a tapered bearing carrier? I ask becasue on my bros 250r he cant adjust the chain enough to put a larger front sprocket even adding links, its either too loose or too tight. It seems like the chain is barely adjusting. I also saw some ad for a tapered one that said "no loss in adjustment" so who knows?

    I used ATF (make sure its type F) once becasue i knew i was going to be tearing down after the ride and its only like a buck a quart. it shifted pretty slick with it but it needs to be changed after every ride, doesnt hold up well. I normaly use golden spectro 80w change it every 15-20 hours.

    TAKE SOMe wire or a zip tie or whatever and put it around the outerwear near the stingers. it will keep in off the stingers.

    My brother has some crappy ASR a arms that the PC has all flaked off of. he wants to get the uppers chromed and the loweds PCed red. Anyone know of good places to get this done? If im not mistaken some guys on here do it as well, Id like to hear from them.

    maybe check out some janssen arms, i think they make an inexpensive set
