uhhh capitalism and democracy dont mix? thats strange our country used both and went from nothing to world super power in less than 200 years... there are countries that have been around forever that have one but not the other that are not near as succesful as us. Look at the coutries using socialism..not doing as good are they? even if things seem to be good for them now it wont last. and free health care isnt really free...you know why? the tax payers pay for it. why should i pay for someone elses health care? Seems like we have gotten along very fine without "free health care" havin the government manage things only screws everything up. They take 10 dollars for health care and give 5 back. the only way capitalism doesnt work is when a socialist government starts to overbear on it and F it up. Oh and we arnt a democracy we are a republic. A democracy is run %100 on voting by the people. a republic people vote for representatives in government. And the reason there wernt protests for WW2 is people wernt pussies back then and they knew what needed to be done. oh and circumstances were completely different back then? wasnt there some great depression back then that probably left alot of people without jobs too?
