ZIGGYBAM Posted June 19, 2018 Report Posted June 19, 2018 What are ya’ll running for plugs with the 4mm strokers? I have T5’s and stock carbs with open filters and a +4 timing advance... Quote
Tedder Posted June 19, 2018 Report Posted June 19, 2018 Most guys running gas use NGK BR8 series (EG or ES) Quote
locogato11283 Posted June 19, 2018 Report Posted June 19, 2018 BR8ES is perfectly fine. I typically don't run the R plugs, but also don't have lights or any other BS. If that's even what it's for. Quote
special06shee Posted June 19, 2018 Report Posted June 19, 2018 R is a resistor plug. To cancel out interference for radios and such. Quote
ClaudeMachining Posted June 19, 2018 Report Posted June 19, 2018 Gape your plug to 0.022-0.025"Envoyé de mon SM-G935W8 en utilisant Tapatalk Quote
locogato11283 Posted June 19, 2018 Report Posted June 19, 2018 Just FYI, I have never gapped a plug, ever. Quote
ClaudeMachining Posted June 20, 2018 Report Posted June 20, 2018 Just FYI, I have never gapped a plug, ever. Me neither, until I had a problem and someone told me to gape my plugs and it solved my problem. So from now on, I gape my plugs, it take 30 sec to do. ZillaFreak Posted June 20, 2018 Report Posted June 20, 2018 You have to gape that gap, nothing like gaping the hole in the thigh gap. 1 Quote

trickedcarbine Posted June 25, 2018 Report Posted June 25, 2018 B8EIX or B8ES. If you're fighting heat due to set up, a 9 series plug can help Quote
registered user Posted June 26, 2018 Report Posted June 26, 2018 never gapped plugs either. tried smaller gap once and engine ran just the same so i just drop em in right from the box Quote
Ayesully810 Posted June 27, 2018 Report Posted June 27, 2018 Claude didn’t you have to gap your plug because of the use of higher comp and higher octane use? I remember sleeper or someone saying something about that in your thread because I know that fixed your issue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
