trickedcarbine Posted October 27, 2014 Report Posted October 27, 2014 ^ pretty sure he's just saying just because someone put a cool knife edge on the intake bridge, doesn't mean the motor is gonna eat to it's potential. Lots of guys crank on the intake, knife edge the tips of the transfers and call it a runner. Takes more then that. Quote
BANSHEE HP Posted October 27, 2014 Report Posted October 27, 2014 Ill stick with what I said. I just met up with stone and checked out his motor. Nice guy, just doesn't know his way around everything yet but is willing to learn and understand what's what and why it is what is. Quote
trickedcarbine Posted October 27, 2014 Report Posted October 27, 2014 Fucking aye billeh... ^ good dude that driveline guy. Quote

Stone MXshee Posted October 27, 2014 Author Report Posted October 27, 2014 (edited) Thanks again Bill. Your info was beneficial, learned a lot. I'm glad it all worked out and was able to meet Edited October 27, 2014 by Stone MXshee Quote
dave5.0 Posted October 27, 2014 Report Posted October 27, 2014 So what's the verdict? Dude get f'd or what? Quote
Stone MXshee Posted October 27, 2014 Author Report Posted October 27, 2014 Eh, not entirely. I had a really tight squish, about .035. Should be about .041-.049 Domes were rough, could use a different setup in that department. Crank was a 4 mil. Cylinders were ported aggressively, not exactly sure what style yet. Bill wants to add a few things up and get a more detailed type of port. Quote
registered user Posted October 27, 2014 Report Posted October 27, 2014 how many port jobs can there be. either its fast or it aint. which is it ? Quote
BANSHEE HP Posted October 27, 2014 Report Posted October 27, 2014 It's beer thirty in my town, when I clock in tomorrow I plan on looking at the numbers I wrote down. But yes the domes were less than what I would call ideal. Quote
