locogato11283 Posted July 10, 2014 Report Share Posted July 10, 2014 I run the JJ&A play axle for hillclimbing. I abuse the shit out of it. It takes a very hard landing to bend one. You would be fine running one in the trails. The only way I can see you bending it is if you hit a tree with the back tire hard. Even if you do, it's covered. They're very strong, about 10 pounds lighter than OEM and they've got a lifetime no questions asked warranty. You can usually get a blemish axle and carrier setup for $615.
