locogato11283 Posted June 26, 2014 Report Posted June 26, 2014 Again I ask... Who are you? Any answer to this? Quote
#1JUANstunna Posted June 26, 2014 Report Posted June 26, 2014 ^ hey that's my hand writing LMAO! Quote
registered user Posted June 26, 2014 Report Posted June 26, 2014 a wiseman once said all transfer ports should be able to recieve mixture from the reeds. boyesen ports would have a less complicated path and likely be a better choice but the piston windows should still be better than nothing 1 Quote
registered user Posted June 26, 2014 Report Posted June 26, 2014 now i think of it , without going back to the early 80's banshee is the only cylinder reed off the top of my head that doesnt use some type of boyesen port. well and maybe the blaster also Quote
Atomic Monkey Posted June 26, 2014 Report Posted June 26, 2014 I'm going to take some measurements today. If it works out, I'm going to give these things a shot. Just want to know where the transfer port floors are going to be to match the piston. Quote
south street speed shop Posted June 26, 2014 Author Report Posted June 26, 2014 (edited) I have pictures loaded on this computer but cannot get them on to this page, I am not into social media. I am headed to the shop to machine the domes and do many other things I'll check back later for an answer on how to do this Edited June 26, 2014 by south street speed shop Quote
Atomic Monkey Posted June 26, 2014 Report Posted June 26, 2014 From the measurements I got off my cylinders, it looks like the transfers only need to be dropped roughly 1mm to have the port floors line up with the top of the piston. I got that # going 57mm in from the top. 1 Quote

south street speed shop Posted June 26, 2014 Author Report Posted June 26, 2014 Looking at the underside of a cub cylinder at the triple port transfers, is that a good idea? Wonder where that idea come from Quote
