camatv Posted July 17, 2014 Report Posted July 17, 2014 DAMN guess i missed a lot of arguing.. i guess i still just dont get what all the bitchin is about. the driveline performance thing has me intrigued tho.. no matter what they are lighter than a DM piston... Quote
trickedcarbine Posted July 18, 2014 Report Posted July 18, 2014 (edited) Cam, Driveline is responsible for a lot of knowledge put out there that they will never get the recognition for. Sometimes I can't tell if lane wants it that way or not. Edited July 18, 2014 by trickedcarbine Quote
Larry's Shee Posted July 18, 2014 Report Posted July 18, 2014 What would be cool is IF someone with no interest either way built two engines with as near identical port timings/size/shapes as possible, one using 795s (?) and one with these "mirical" pistons. Then dyno them on same day. One thing I do know is South street goes under the Rochester Rd. bridge, and we all know what lives under bridges 2 Quote
trickedcarbine Posted July 18, 2014 Report Posted July 18, 2014 No doubt the newer piston may fair better. My problem with what's going on is that someone takes something they haven't tested, makes an astronomical claim, then tells people that they can simply swap these pistons and turn new domes and have said astronomical increase.
