That's true. They're still holding the race though for anyone who wants to ride.

USA Today had a big article about how much PR is in debt and raising all kinds of taxes. Wouldn't surprise me if they were taxing the bikes transportation.

BINGO.. $1,000 per bike.

 

AND apparently the governor is having races in PR that same weekend.

 

Kind of sounds like they were forced to stay at home and race.
