  1. Dune racing is pretty much dried up... A lot of guys have sold their bikes. There's still a lot of guys in the sport but most are at the track now days. Hoppers doing a rigid for next year, Tommys still got his big rigid dmx, Evans still got the army bike (hasn't been out for a few years), Brady sold everything... Come to the track!! A lot of us travel around to the tracks in ky and nc together also.
  2. I've got a dyna box Id sell.. $170 shipped Call/text. 248-240-0387
  3. I know that's what your looking for-I was 10% kidding. Nice to see your keeping tabs on me... Kinda weird though but we can make another thread about your men tracking at another time. Not that I need to explain myself... I skim thru here all the time. Just happened to see this thread so thought I'd remind everyone that there is 2 sides to every story. Yes I clarify I don't speak for him because I know how drama starts... "Tyson told Brian to go on there and calm the storm" nope. Let me know if we need to start a thread about me, this one is way too informational, I'd hate to take away from it. I answer his phone?? Is that what your last sentence implied?
  4. This is a perfect example of what I'm talking about. Misunderstanding thru a keyboard. Did I say that he shouldn't be obligated to take care of him or the issue? No, because he should. All I'm saying is there is a 2nd side to every story and I know brads not one to argue. Cracks me up how 90% of the people on here are always high strung and ready to crucify every builder that doesn't give them the walmart experience
  5. I don't speak for him and my words should not be taken as his but I'm sure he won't get on here to argue for the same reason he "won't take his calls" some people know everything and aren't worth the argument. There is 2 sides to every story
  6. n2o just read the book this am, they said you can't turbo a 2 stroke
  7. Does anybody race in the dunes anymore?
  8. I'd be happy to share info over the phone or in person but really don't wanna blast over the internet
  9. It took me 3 years and a lot of $ to figure out. I'd really like to keep that one to myself. Trust me, Your overthinking it though.
  10. Don't let this come off as cocky. BUT, even though dan doesn't get his hands on it much anymore he's still been kept in the bubble and I know he would agree with me on this. The problem with the big turbo motor and alcohol has recently been 100% figured out, just need a few t&t days to dial it in. Why not just do it you ask? I want to finish the year off having fun with it and getting it to run like a sob on gas and then switch to alcohol next year.
  11. I've had a stock bore/stroke 350.. Big bike is a 950 scimitar
  12. And as a side note. I'm still on gas... Haven't even put it on alcohol yet..
  13. Call me crazy but IT WILL go low .40s next weekend, possibly high .30s
  14. Haven't had it down to a southern track since it's been running consistent. Just talked to dan last night and he was saying the fastest it ever went in mi was one mid .40s pass with a 120lb'er on it. I unloaded the chassis bad at the 60' mark in that video and that was a 3.50 w/ a 1.4x 60' @ 94 mph.
  15. Lol. No cheating here. Just a lot of work and I refuse to give up..
  16. 31psi and not a single issue. More coming next weekend.. Turbos do work, just have to address each issue. I'm nobody important, but I have been thru a lot of headaches. My phones always on.. 248-240-0387 https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=w3p1CHOboqg
  17. I think you hit the nail on the head. Couldn't agree more. I know he's been monitoring this thread and trying to take in all the information..
  18. I know anything I say will be considered biased. Here's the deal with brad, he his one of my best friends so I do know the ins and outs of what he's got going and how he does things. Trust me when I say that everytime he hears his phone rings he drops what he's doing to answer it. But the fact is that he does work 16 hrs a day under his welding helmet or running his lathe or his mill. He has to work sometime so by the time he's done busting ace to get stuff done-yes he'll have 22 missed calls and 15 text messages.. I've seen it numerous times. Is this an excuse to not return phone calls? Absolutely not. Is he ok with it? I know for a fact that it bothers him that he struggles to stay caught up. He does have a guy that works for him that basically does all of his running around so he can stay in the shop all day. The problem really is if he was to take on all the extra costs you guys are describing to make him (as you describe) a "legit" shop then this thread would be about how his prices are outrageous. Here's the fact, you want one of the most diverse, experienced, knowledgable, skilled guys to build your parts, brad is the guy. From 1/8 mile drag cars, banshees, busas, drag sleds. Brad has done it all and has left his mark. There is also a 99.9% chance that if he does miss your call and he's not in his shop he's got someone there that he's helping tune their bike or he's out testing either a 4 wheeler or his car. Some may call that having priorities out of order, I think in this industry you always have to be evolving, that's what he does. Is he unorganized? Yes. Does he try his absolute best? Yes. I'm not trying to make excuses for him, just trying to explain that he's not a scammer, this is his life-has been for 25 years and to keep work coming in he needs to keep his prices low but that also creates the problem that he can't afford to pay a fabricator-he tries his best to balance and works 8 days a week, stops to eat and quits at 830 when is wife gets home. That's the truth. I'm sorry you guys had bad experiences with him, obviously I know it's hard to trust someone after you feel they wrong'd you but if anyone deserves your business-it's brad.
