Surfrjag Posted April 4, 2013 Report Posted April 4, 2013 52hp If we guess right what do we win? Quote
WINDYCITYJOHN400 Posted April 4, 2013 Report Posted April 4, 2013 Your somewhere shy of 70 at best if tuned perfect. No chance your even hitting 70. (No way of knowing what "Fully ported " means for your motor) Nobody ever says they are 1/2 ported. A motor can be fully ported and still have stock port timings. Either way I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt and estimating it as fully ported. More than likely if you have done all your own tuning, the bike is actually only hitting 60-65HP. 1 Quote
special06shee Posted April 4, 2013 Report Posted April 4, 2013 ^^^ what he said.60-65hp. a lot of people dont realize what it takes to get a bike to 80hp! my rule of thumb about estimating hp is, i take the hp number you think your making, then minus 25% and that is more of the realistic number your probably making. bansheesandrider Posted April 4, 2013 Report Posted April 4, 2013 A rough estimate would be between 35 and 150. Most Banshees fall somewhere in that range. Very few bikes make near the power that their owners guesstimate. Quote
rg97 Posted April 29, 2013 Author Report Posted April 29, 2013 At least 125. If not, then your builder is a piece of shit. I'm my own builder, so 130 sounds good to me seriously though, you guys seem right 65 hp doesnt sound like much in a car but when its a smokin' monster that weighs like 1/8 of a cars weight, you better be hanging on tight Quote
trickedcarbine Posted April 29, 2013 Report Posted April 29, 2013 What kinda Aussie shit is that! Quote
