  1. More fuel, less oil. Will probably run a little rich. Try a plug chop to be sure, but if anything you may be looking at about 1 size down on the mains. broke
  2. Are you serious? I have a set of stockers with Vitos caps and idle kit in it and will buy you a new cable if you want to trade. broke
  3. I agree that looks like alot of work for something that would probably only hold around a gallon. The guy that posted that has a 570 or something around there in it, so I'm sure that the cruising range on it was horrible. I just happened to bump into that and posted it as an option. It just seemed like a clean job that was done right. broke
  4. Mine hit 94 at a riding park by my house. It kind of surprised me, I thought they would have been much louder. The only bad oart is having to run Sparkies. broke

  6. Most Banshees seem to do this. Mine does it pretty bad when cold, but after a short ride it lessens up. It never really goes away, but gets to the point it will start in gear, so I jusy learned to live with it. I ahve heard it gets worse with a grooved basket and may be fixable, I just don't know how. broke
  7. I'd be up for that week. Do you still need scuba gear for the flats? Are there any hotels in the area? I don't think I would even want to put a tent up in public, I am completely camping declined. I really want to try out my 7 month old paddles, that have never even been mounted on the bike. I hope this Silverfest actually works out. broke
  8. I may sound like an idiot, but what the hell is P.A.? broke
  9. I don't know if the price is high or not. It's kind of hard to tell from the avatar sized pics. Can anyone enlarge these, so us optically challenged people can see too? broke
  10. Captain Lou Albano? I believe he had his bottom lip pierced, didn't he. I still don't know why you need rubber bands to hold your facial hair together. Geeze, I really am showing my age.
  11. Do you have any more information on these? I am very interested, but there seems to be an issue with long travel on Banshees. I'm not sure of all the reasons for it, but have heard that it doesn't work quite right becasue of how far the A-arm mounts are form the center of the frame causing some kind of bind up in the suspension or steering. I know that the long travel has been done before; Roll, Jansenn(sp), and I'm sure a few others that I have forgotten, but none seem to be very popular. We all know that the Banshee has one of the worst front end designs in sport quad history, and always looking for a way to improve on it. Does any one know if Flash and Flare ever gave a ride report on his long travel front end? broke

  13. I would kind of like to hear a guess of what you guys think mine has. RZ cylinders MXish port work (196* exhaust duration, 128* transfer duration, 130* boost port duration. Intake floors dropped 3mm.) Head is cut for 100 octane minimum V-force reeds Timing at +4 Clamp on K&N's 30mm Keihin flat slides Rocket pipes. I would guess close to 60, but I really don't know broke
  14. I agree with that. I think somehow Banshee's got the reputation of being unreliable. I have been beating the hell out of the RZ motor since it went in last January. Still running like the day it was built. But, it has been down quite a few times this year for upgrades. So I guess if you were looking for downtime for any reason at all, then mine has already been down 4 times this year, but it has yet to break. I tend to find that the Banshees that are always broken are owned by people who don't want to take the time to learn what it takes to keep them going. Short of some chain lube, grease, trans fluid, spark plugs, and quite a bit of premix, mine hasn't cost me a penny to ride for the last 18 months. Maybe I have just been lucky, but I believe proper maintenance has helped me become lucky. broke
  15. I have Rocket pipes on an RZ motor. It has some fairly agressive porting done, but still no where near a drag port. I only had my exhaust raised slightly (@196* exhaust duration, 128* transfer duration, 130* boost port duration. Intake floors dropped 3mm), so I may not be able to rev the pipes as high as they can really go. They pull pretty good down low, probably close to CPI's. Unfortunately I had my CPI's on stock ports, so I did not get a chance to really see them shine. I have noticed a loss of bottom end compared to the PTR mids that were on this motor, but I kind of expected that. They start to pull hard in the midrange and rev out as far as my motor will. They fit great and for big pipes I don't burn myself anymore than with other pipes. They work great, I would compare them to CPI's if I had to make a comparison. I took this part from a different thread, but the pipe builder gave these specs for the correct porting for these pipes. Rocket pipes need to have the port timing @200 ex, and 134 tr, upswept angle @ 3 degrees MAX ) 0 Degree is best , And ports pitched to center, Dia of ex outlet@38 dia .Make sure All tr's open @ the same time!. broke
  16. Rev370, I didn't realize you wer that close to me, I'm in Channahon. broke
  17. What ever it is, I don't have it on mine. broke
  18. I am interested also. What exactly is the 2% that's missing? Is it all stock? Could you send some pics to [email protected] Thanks, broke
  19. I'd be up for it as long as it isn't to Fox Valley. There is actually a new place not too far from it called The Cliffs. When it dries it should be some good riding. It was wet as hell when we went, as I was told it would be. They do sound check, but even with Rocket pipes they let me right through, so I don't think they are real strict. Just another option, but still not as good as the Badlands. broke
  20. I would agree with you, but he has actually been a member for a while. While this says nothing for his integrity, at least he's not one of these idiots that tries to sell here that has 2 posts and has been a member for 11 minutes. If you really want to sell here, buy a banner and do it right. I'm sure if your prices are what you say they are, you won't have a problem selling here. Good luck broke
  21. Damn, I had it all wrong. That's good to know. broke

I've got some off aq 99. Make me an offer and there yours. broke
  23. It's a new park, just wondering if anybody has been there yet. I have heard that they have a sound restriction of 96db. I want to find out if it is enforced before I make the drive. broke
  24. I figured it was just a problem with the chromer. I didn't mean to bash the pipes at all. Performance wise, I couldn't be happier. The chrome is a minor issue. I plan to contact him, but it not really an issue when they are always dirty anyway. broke

I haven't contacted the builder yet, It may just be a fluke job by he chromer, so don't take this as a bash against the pipes. They work great, I would compare them to CPI's if I had to make a comparison. broke
