Yep, I pick it up after work tomorrow. Ended up getting and 05 Limited Diesel. It took quite a bit of wife convincing, but she liked driving it. I don't think she is going to let me get the YFZ450 this year too.

Mostly stock. Newer Factory replacement frame(has no Vin on new frame.) Gold Series pipes with Toomey silencers. Aftermarket Aluminum rear hubs, but I have no idea what kind. Holds just under 110lbs in both cylinders. Runs good, but could use a new set of tors caps or will come with extra carbs with Vitos caps and Idle screws that will need a throttle cable. It can be ridden but previous owner siliconed the cabs caps on because of stripped threads. It's a minor fix, but if it doesn't sell it will be parted out. PM me with any questions or for more pictures.

Baldwin is who built my fronts for me. I am considering having my rear done also. Here is the reply I got from Baldwin. The rear can also be made into ZPS shocks and the cost for the application is $425.00. Delivery time is 3 to 4 weeks email is [email protected] Website is www.baldwinmotorsports.com

Damn the man. Just get some time off in the winter. I have got to see that sled. I was telling somebody about the motor and they can't believe it runs either.

The chain tensioners won't do shit if you weld the carrier to the swingarm.

As far as bang for the buck goes, RZ motors are a great alternative to the more expensive monoblock PV set ups. The Jugs themselves looking some thing like the Banshee jugs with the powervalves right at the front. The basic port layout of the RZ cylinder is better than the Banshee, that's why they make more HP stock. It really comes down to what you are looking for, it top end is it, Banshee jugs are a better idea. If you are looking for a broad powerband that pulls well off the pipe, the RZ motor may be what you want. I had mine ported by Patriot to have a very broad powerband for MX, so it doesn't pull on top like some Banshee set ups. But I also ride it differently too, like MrMatt said it doesn't need to be shifted much. I tend to bog gears way down then just let the motor pull itself back up on the pipe. It is a great trail motor, My jetting was way off at the dunes so I can't really give you an accurate ride review in the sand. I built mine from parts which was a pain in the ass. The electronics really are the hard part. I have a set of jugs sitting here waiting to some day become a stroker, so if you would like close up pics of everything just let me know.

I have there Daytona 2. It's been holding up for 5 years now. The carbon fiber work is perfect. It came with stickers that are starting to look their age, but other than that it still almost looks new. For the price there are much nicer helmets.

prollty around $90 i strippe all the paint and repainted it but i think if i dont sell it i might have it powder coated. what i realloy wanna do thou is, weld the stck carrier to the swing arm that way you dont have to tighten anything. thats why im thinkin about a stock one. if i did that with this it would prolly be about -3 maybe. let me know. Let me know how that works for you. The carrier adjusts for a reason. Good luck what reason might that be? To take up slack in the chain. Did you think Yamaha added those two bolts for looks?

This one is one of my favorites.

Throw in the the other ride behind it and we've got a deal. Some day I'll never be able to afford one of those.

Did I read this right? -
I forgot all about Intellivision. Sea Battle was great. The damn discs on those controllers would wear the skin off you thumbs in no time. I should see if our old one is still around. This kids posts are almost amusing. No one is really that stupid, are they?

I will never run Banshee pegs again. The Blaster pegs are a great upgrade if you don't want to spend the $ on the Roll/IMS pegs. You may need to do some slight mods to run nerfs.

I can see how fast dune riding becomes addictive. I can't wait for the next trip. Banchetta, Fixitrod, MrMatt, Benshee, one of Jasons friends and I were the only ones to camp. Minkia, Blk02 and some of Minkias buddies chose to stay in a local hotel. No wives or kids made the journey. The whole Spark arrestor thing is "BS". If you need to buy them and a flag, by the time all the fees are paid it will run around $200 to even set a tire in the sand. All the quads ran great. Fixitrods was a definate handful with a -2 swinger. Rods stator failure was the only real breakdown of the weekend. Minkias 450 turned out to be a good tow vehicle. Rodney, Thanks for cooking. We would have probably starved if you and your wife weren't so prepared. Thank her for me. I did learn how to make a Banshee silencer work on a 4 stroke with the creative use of some pop cans. All in all a great time.

I will load up my truck with fire wood, but there can never be too much, we'll just make a bigger fire. Does anybody know when any of the shops that sell spark arrestors stays open until?

I will start this out with I have not owned a big bore so this is just what I have "heard". The one negative that I have heard when going to the big bore is that the oversized sleeve takes up some of the transfer area that Banshee's are kind of lacking to start. I'm sure that with proper porting, the transfer area can be increased enough to feed the bigger dispalcement. This may only be an issue when you are going for maximum HP. I'm sure that the bigger bore creates a bundle of torque, so if the set up your looking for is a good trail machine, maybe this would be a great set up. I guess the tranfer volume is one of the reasons the strokers are becoming so popular, you are increasing displacement with out sacrificing any transfer area. There are quite a few members that have the big bores that can give you actual answers from their experience. This was just for informational purposes.

Unless something goes horribly wrong I should be getting to SL around 7:00 Fri. night. I will be in a red ZR2 ext. cab pickup with a small pop-up. broke
