Hi there, I have just got a pair of 30mm PWK carbs from Carbparts Warehouse and am now having trouble getting me 'shee started and when it finally starts wont idle. Carbs are meant to be pre jetted but not sure if they have been. Have tried changing idle speed dosent seem to make much difference. my 'shee is pretty stock with FMF pipes and Exhaust, Boost Bottle, k&n Filter with no lid, at sea level and temperature around 60-70f....does anyone have these carbs and can suggest a jetting setup I can try??? also checked all electrical ok. Xtshee thanks for the offer, Have a mate that has a banshee will try and get his when he gets back from Holiday. Can any damage be done by trying another coil?? will any other yamaha road or trail bike coil work with the banshee?? Cheers

Hi there, Been having trouble with a weak spark and my quad not firing up seems that my coil is stuffed it had resistance accross + and - but not between - and leads. have remove leads and still nothing. In NZ an ignition coil costs around $275. do any other bikes have a compatible coil so maybe i can get one from a wrecker?? Dont want to spend $275 and find out its not the problem. Cheers

Can I sand the flywheel to remove rust?

Hi there, trying to sort out a problem with my 'shee having a weak spark and not starting had a look at the flywheel and its rusty and a mess under the cover. Could that be the problem? Can you clean them up?? and also can you remove them without a flywheel puller?? Cheers

Help, I was racing today and 1 lap into the first race me 'shee just stopped. It was going great came around corner onto straight and went to nail it and it just died. Wont start wants to but no go. How Strong should the spark be? There is a spark but it is seeems very faint. Fuel is getting into carbs, but couldnt get her going again . Any ideas??? Banshee is reasonable stock with fmf fattys and powercore2s and stock air filter replaced with k&n. Thanks
