  1. I didn't really post this to get under anyone's skin. I just happened to bump into it and got a chuckle out of it. It takes alot more than this to even get me to stop smiling.
  2. Is there a difference if you use a short rod stroker crank?
  3. I banish you to Hoboken, New Jersey.
  4. I guess the Planetsand guys look at HQ members like we look at Bluetraxx. Quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- it was designed to take your money... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- aint that the truth! designed for Bansheehq members! LMAO http://www.planetsand.com/ubbthreads/showf...=5&o=&fpart=all
  5. That's insane. For what YFZ450 parts are going for, it may be worth it to buy new ones and part them out.

    WTF? Why?

Or when you take your friends Banshee out for a ride before you own one. Proceed to get it stuck in some sand and run it out of fuel. Finally get it out of the sand and push it 2 miles back to his house in Florida heat and humidity in the summer while having mosquitos eat the shit out of you. Spend 2 hours pushing it back to have him jump on, turn the petcock to reserve, give it a few kicks and drive it back in to the garage. THAT WILL PISS YOU OFF!!!!!!!
  7. You dug deep for this one.
  8. I NEED one of those. Maybe if I say it enough times with the emphasis on NEED, my wife will start to see it my way.

  10. New auction that end on Friday. front shocks front hubs w/rotors CDI
  11. Low balling somebody is what the game is all about. But this is kind of an insult. If anybody is letting their running Banshees go for $1100, give me a call I'll buy them. This is just what the Dealership will offer for a trade in. Trade in value of something, is something that should come with a nice large warm jar of Vaseline. Usually the only reason you let them go that cheap is because there is no hassle. You giive them your old stuff, and take your new stuff home with you.
  12. Vin numbers on the frame should be right under the Stator cover on the frame rail. $1400 for a 2000 is a great deal no matter what. If you don't want it, I'll be all over it.
  13. I no longer ride, but did for years. I raced the Norba series for two year, but usually stuck to the East Coast races. I started out on a Trek 600, then a Specialized M2 hardtail, then a Klean Adroit, moved from there to a Santa Cruz Heckler, then when I started to race DH a rode a Specialized FSR Team DH with A Monster T, from there went to a Cortina DH8 with a Shiver and raced a Foes ZigZag for DS. Racing was great, I'm just a little too beat up to even think of trying it anymore
  14. I must be reading something wrong. On Ronnies website they have them $553.45. I have a factory replacement frame from a 97 Banshee for $275+shipping.
  15. Don't tracks eat up alot of HP on EVERYTHING?
  16. Auctions end Monday night. Most are still at starting bids.
  17. 01 MXZX 800
  18. I've got a set of FMF's with Toomey silencers. Not the prettiest things in the world, but I'm not looking to get much for the m either. PM me.
  19. Factory replacement frames have no Vin.
  20. I agree, mine was just slightly furthure forward, just about under the stator. If you look in the general area Wallrat and I mentioned, you can't miss it.
  21. Have somebody shorten yours. Come to think of it, if anybody would like to shorten a shifter and brake lever, let me know. I know some of you have done it, and hopefully would like to do it again.
  22. I have the Oneal Hardwear boots. I hated them at first, but they were also my first pair of boots They have turned out to be great boots, but I am still getting used to riding with boots on. They are still stiff as hell, but you kind of get used to it after "SEVERAL" rides.
  23. Work like that belongs in a case. I would be terrified to actually use something with that kind of paint work on it. Although, Walt has proven over and over that if the paint is done right, it can hold up to just about anything.
  24. Congratulations. I became a father and an uncle in the time of two months. Babies definately make everything crazy.
  25. Go for a used one. If you want to start with a frame, PM me, I know where there is a pretty nice one.
