  1. Whats up all. Well the baby is finally old enough to take to the desert so we are heading out to Ocotillo Wells next Friday. We will be there from the 17th through the 20th. We all are gonna be right down the road from the blue inn. I was just wondering if anyone else is planning on going out there. Its suppost to be raining but screw it..... I have not rode in about 8 months.
  2. Hey all. Well my court case with motorworld is over. Things did not work out as planned. Apparently proof has nothing to do if the judge is a motoworld customer. So I am now trying to sell my banshee. I just want to try to get everything all off at once. The top end is fried cause the assholes forgot to put coolent in after they put a new tranny in. Well what can I think of what I did to it. Tranny is BRAND NEW. PT mids- black K&N filter Jet kit Extended axle Chrome grill Now the things that are wrong with it. Needs a new crankshaft, 1 piston is shot along with cylinder the bushings are worn the Banshee is a 97. I am looking to get just around 1,500 for it + shipping if not in SD area. I will drive to up to 100 miles to drop it off. Think about it with the price and about another 1500 you will have a great running quad. During all the bullshit I bought a raptor and now I am going to start working on that. Here are a few pics. If you have any questions just messege me or even better just E-mail me at a_new_derk_in_town@yahoo.com
  3. I personally think that the fenders are set to high to really block any mud or sand. Just pretty much pointless.
  4. Did you check the plugs? Sorry had to ask. Yeah go with the CDI, stator, flywheel, voltage regulator. Go with the easy stuff before you start tearing shit apart.
  5. Just cut them. It looks alot better and I honestly think that the ride is better. I like to see where the front wheels are.
  6. Now I may be mistaking..... but if the banshee is at full throttle and it magically jumps into gear, dont you think that you would be chasing it down the street? Did you do anything with the shift forks? I have never heard of anything just deciding to jump into gear. Let alone just die when it does. that thing should be running WOT till it either blows up, runs out of gas, or hits something to make it stop. Plus I think that I would have killed it before it had a chance to get to WOT. Its not to good for your top end. But about the slow revving up. I had the same problem for a while. Come to find out that my throttle cable was screwed. Try to replace the throttle cable, or just make sure that you reinstalled it correctly.
  7. I found a cupon in the pennysaver today. You can get it at the low price of $4299.99. Use your Yamaha card and you can get financed for $39 a month. I have my order in for 5.
  8. Screw that..... for 20 grand I will let you put anything you want on my head for 30 days. I may look like an idiot for a month... but I will be able to make a bad ass Banshee and maybe a few other toys
  9. Hey I tried that and they looked at me like I was crazy. I also asked them for a gallon of go fast to put in my headlight.
  10. It does make you get a little dirtier. But if you do not want to get dirty than just dont ride. Its like lifting a truck and keeping the stock tires on. Just does not look right. The banshee looks so much better with the fenders cut.
  11. I like the twist much better. Must better for those weekend trips to the desert. Last time I used a thumb throttle on a weekend trip I thought that my god damn thumb was going to fall off. Only thing you have to get used to with the twist throttle is jumping. Got to learn to watch your wrist. First few times when I jumped I thought that I was gonna kill myself on the landing. Something about going from a jump to a wheelie is not fun when you are not ready for it.
  12. Who knows how much that is. Hmmmm I wonder what shipping will be??? It just may be worth it
