  1. LOL.... That's just wrong, but funny.
  2. And thats why I drive a truck! That was some pretty funny shit.I'm still laughing about the boost bottle/eye candy comment. Lol, I'll admit... I found the boost bottle bit hilarious too. That pic's got me rollin' as well.
  3. Those who complain about someone else's post need to check theirs first. I'm seeing alot of "bullshit" complaints that don't pertain to anything except bitching.
  4. I never used the chat before... but might give it a try some day. The only person who can sticky a link to it would be Lee, give him a pm and see.
  5. Damn, I was bored and checked it out, but damn!!! That many people on a damn forum for cell phones?? That's some crazy shit.
  6. It's definitely against the law, but also pavement can cause the quad to flip or roll easier because of the abundance of traction. If you pay attention to what the quads doing in 6th on the asphault, you'll notice it will swerve slightly from side to side. One slight little jerk could cause it to flip. Now if you're going 6th wide open on a dirt road or on grass, you'll notice that it doesn't swerve as much because of the lack of traction. There's really not much of a difference in the tread wear that I've noticed. On loose surfaces, the tires spin more, causing more tread wear, whereas you don't spin much on asphault, but yet the loose surfaces are softer and less harmful in some circumstances than asphault. So pretty much you get the same amount of wear on any surface, just depends on how you're riding it.
  7. If you're tires are inflated properly, and the tire hits the edge of the pot hole evenly, it shouldn't be much of a problem. Stock rims are pretty tough compared to some of the aftermarket ones. The main thing that causes a rim to bend is low tire pressure, and hitting something on one side of the rim. You should be fine.
  8. Knight will say just about anything if he thinks it'll get a laugh or two... even if most of what he says isn't funny. Hell.... who gives a shit if one guy beat a cr500, and another one owns one and beats quads. Quit you're damn bitching and arguing and setup a fucking race. I can't believe how many people are bench mark racers. Get some fucking slips and videos and shut the hell up. As for Ninja's problem with Knight... forget it. My friend's 275 and has a stomach like stone. Sure, it's falling over his belt, but it's stout. He's ridden my banshee alot and it's all stock, doesn't have a single problem getting him rolling, so the only thing a dump truck is needed for is to carry around Knight's ego.
  9. Guess I missed something somewhere.
  10. Nah, wasn't meaning 4 gallons of gas to 5 gallons worth of oil. What I meant is when you fill a 5 gallon gas can to the top, it's not only heavier and harder to shake/mix, but also wastes gas because it'll start pouring out before you get the nozzle in the tank. Now if you have one of the more expensive gas jugs such as the one's with the flexible, clear hose instead of the red/blue walmart gas cans, then you don't have to worry much about spilling gas. Gas and oil are expensive these days, so saving every little bit and making sure it gets into the tank counts.
  11. You're best option would be Little Sahara just south of Waynoka, Oklahoma. Temps will still be below 60 depending on if it's during the winter or not..., but that's still warm compared to the northern parts of the US. Little Sahara's also open year round and is just about the best area to ride some sand in the midwest.
  12. I'd like to see some deductive reasoning to back that up, lol.
  13. They probably won't show if they think the event is a "ride of shame" like the forum section suggests.
  14. Worrying too much about it and not posting it in the right section can lead to flippage of the banshee. Just don't worry about too much... if you think about it all the time, you'll end up either not having any fun, or flipping it anyway, then you'll be extremely pissed. Get out in some grass and throw the back end around a little and see where you/shee's limit is, then don't push that limit.
  15. LMAO... I don't know how much this can be stressed, but as mentioned, landing is definitely the key here. I've seen a stock axle bend, but never completely break in half from a bad landing. The main thing you'll have to worry about with stock suspension on a bad landing is not being thrown off the quad. Definitly wear a helmet, mine has many battle scars from jumping and landing wrong and getting launched off head first.
  16. read the bottle, and mix it a tad above what's recommended. If it says mix at 32:1, mix at 30:1, just to be safe. If it's still smoking a bit after it's warmed up, and the plugs look wet, then back it down some. And word of advice... when first attempting to get the ratio correct... use a ratio rite cup to help mix, don't fill the gas jug to the full 5 gallons... only 4, and bring extra spark plugs in case you foul some out. Experience teaches us well.
  17. I laughed as I read some of those posts with people stating "with those mods, you'll beat him." Mods don't mean shit if you can't ride, lol. I've raced my friend's raptor many times, when it was stock, and after he modded it, and I've beaten him 95% of the time, and my shee's bone stock. His mods are about the same as far as the type of mods, only his are CT exhaust, and a full K&N kit. Only engine mod I have is new spark plugs, and a billet water impellor. Even he admits I'm a better rider, because I can hop on his raptor and race him on my banshee and beat him. It's all the rider, the mods just give the rider some assistance. Now granted... most people with mods are fast because they are 1) a good rider, 2) a good rider, and 3) have good mods, but once again... you can stick someone who's not as experienced of a rider on a full blow drag banshee, and there's a 50/50 chance he'll still get beat by the experienced rider on a stock warrior (hypothetically speaking of course). Point is... you proved him wrong, and that's all that counts, but don't let that go to your head. You should always be humble about yourself when racing... it doesn't bruise the ego and self esteem as much as talking trash before, and getting your ass handed to you afterwards.
  18. Someone's been hittin' the pipe too much.
  19. The deal is any post that didn't have a reply in a certian period of time was deleted. From what Lee said in some post, he tried to save everything, but only the stuff with new replies within that certian time window were transferred.
  20. I heard from yo mamma's, daddy's, sister's, aunt's, cousin's, brother, who knows the cousin's, aunt's, father's, dead grandma, who's friend's with sally's momma's, stepfather's, aunt and uncle, who heard from some guy standing in line at the yamaha dealership, that.... what the hell.... I forget. You can't call anything else BUT the 350 twin a banshee. If, and only if, yamaha decided to make a 450 or 500 2 stroke.... they're sure as hell not going to call it a banshee.
  21. I'm right there with ya Big... love it when girls not afraid to let loose around me. I can't get my g/f to burp or fart around me... which makes me feel like I can't around her. One of those things I guess. Just love those girls who can be one of the guys, but not look like one.
  22. Lol, I hate those too... and I've given it my best to keep them off of here, as well as some of the others.
  23. Lol... I know what ya mean Duece. I don't really see myself as a click above the rest of the members for the fact that I don't know half the stuff that's talked about on here, lol, hell you guys have taught me more about an engine than my dad ever dreamed of since I was born. The whole thing with Chase was just an example to prove in a heated situation... i'm cool, not egotistical and on a power binge. I'm all for a vote for mods... but Lee did say anyone who would like to be a mod could email him and let him know what sections and he would choose. It was pretty much a self nomination type deal. Like I said though... the vote may be a good idea... I'm for it. Who gives a damn if I'm a mod or not... I don't... It was just a way for me to help out, but if my attempts to help out pissed anyone off... then i guess I can still piss people off without being a mod.
  24. Damn... sorry to hear that Bigairee. Lol, J/K. I'm gonna be stuck around with some family, but hopefully I'll get to do some riding.
