For those who don't care and think they'll be funny and post some ignorant remark... go ahead, I don't give a shit... I won't even read it until a few months from now. Just so you don't feel left out... here's something for ya... For those who do/might care... I'm leaving for the air force basic training tomorrow (Jan. 6th) for 6 weeks, during which time I won't be able to visit the HQ and stir the pot. After basic... I should be back on to give my usual replies, but will still be seperated from my shee, which will be locked in the shed with a seized up rear axle, no front rim/tire, and a layer of dust. I think I can survive the seperation until the shee and I are reunited. Oh yeah, won't see the g/f for a bit either. I'll miss most of you guys, but there are a few who I won't miss a bit... I only hope they leave the site before I'm back, but I won't hold my breath. See everybody in a few months!! S.D.

definitely get the ad-aware... i used it and it worked great. I had one ad in particular that kept popping up and it would open my cd-rom. It started to piss me off when it ejected cds that I was trying to burn. wouldn't have been so bad if it would have shut the drawer too, and not wasted my cds. Ran ad-aware once, and haven't had any re-occurances from it yet.

I always worry about the shee first because my philosphy is if you can feel the pain, you're still alive, and that's all that matters... so if I'm able to move, i already know I'm fine, so i'm automatically looking for where ever the shee landed.

Lol, you got the shaft bubba. I have a 00 model truck, I'm also 21, AND have 3 tickets on my record... and I only pay 181.00 a month for full covered with low deductibles. You need to search for a new insurance company in my opinion. Also... study up on your government's activties. They are the main ones responsible for raising the rates, not the people who brake for tailgaters.

Damn... I'm getting excited!!! I'll be stationed at Witchita Falls, TX at Sheppard AFB in about 2 months... I may or may not have the shee there with me for my stay, but if I do, I'm definitely gonna have to check out Kermit.

Check out kazaa lite's website. There's a CODEC pack you can download that has more of the most recent CODECs used that always seem to fail when mediaplayer says it couldn't find them. It's actually for Kazaa, but since kazaa uses media player to play videos within it's own program, it patches those codecs to the main media player itself. After downloading and installing it... I've only had a select few videos that wouldn't play, as opposed to 75% of them not playing.

I hit 1.3 meg on dsl..... if some cable users aren't getting over 2 meg, then that seems like a waste of cash for .7 meg more.

I think it's kinda cool. Not something I would do, but why not. If you've got a frame and 4x4 parts, why not build/fabricate something that no one else has.

Welcome to the HQ... it's an awesome place as long as you're not here to start trouble. Gotta watch out for some guys, they get a bit rowdy, but that's just the effects of owning a shee.

Damn dittmer... how stupid are you? He IS paying for his banshee, just to his insurance company. He did what any red-blooded american would have done, taught a tail-gater a lesson. I've done it before to someone who's been up on my ass.... gave them a brake check from hell when there wasn't a possibility of them injuring others except their self and maybe me. If there's anyone to blame for higher insurance rates it's the government, not the people who pay insurance. Get your head out of your ass and read up on some of your state's recently passed bills... somewhere you'll read about them hiking up insurance rates, which they'll claim it's because of the increased number of accidents, but it's all because the more you pay to your insurance company, the more the gov. gets from the taxes. I should know, the OK state gov. just hiked up insurance about 3 - 5 months ago, and I got hit hard since I'm under 25 and have a newer vehicle which is still under a loan. I've done the research and found out that the number of accidents wasn't much different from the previous couple of years. Oh yea, let's make them pay more anyways. banshee_boy2007 did the wrong thing by riding on roads and getting caught, but he did the RIGHT thing by stopping and not trying to outrun the cops. That's how to quickly ruin it for the rest of the ATV riders out there. One f*ck up leads to many others, and more strikes against the ATV community... we have enough already from ignorant assholes, we don't need to keep raising the tally anymore than it already is.

Alot of people complain that Maier fenders don't always fit right or what not. I can't say if they do or not... haven't gotten any before. You can order fenders from yamaha as well, and I believe they'll run you the same or possibly a bit more than Maier's will, and you'll know for sure that everything fits. Then main benefit of Maier plastics is the front nose piece. The fenders are already cut, so you don't have to. Bad thing is if you want front fenders, they have some that you can order, but they have to be bolted on, they don't come as a whole piece.

Use whatever you have on hand to cut them with... just make sure to touch them up with a razor blade and sand the edges down. I used a drill and made holes along where I was wanting the cut to go, then tore the fenders off.
