  1. pipes, air filter, intake, reeds, and porting will all affect jetting noticeably. cool head not so much... timing and increased compression will need to be compensated with by running higher octane fuel.
  2. yea 27.5 pilot for sure. id start with the needle in the middle and air screw 1.5 out like you said. 320 would be a good starting point but i bet youll end up dropping down to 310 or 300. just do a WOT plug check with the 320 and see how your plugs look. dark = rich tan = perfect white = lean
  3. you will notice a gain with advanced timing. the plate it a better route to go. degree keys have been know to shear off causing problems. with advance timing you will need to run a higher octane fuel. a 50/50 mix of pump and 110 should be fine for a stock motor with advance timing.
  4. well it wont melt like a stock one will, which can cause your motor to overheat and blow up.. so yea, id say its well worth the money.
  5. what is your jetting? also need to know the altitude and temperature. i would set the timing at +4 or +7. those are the most common timing advances for a 4mm motor.
  6. why not just run the AC prop ges with stainless steel peg with heal guards? i have them on my 450 and like them a lot. ive had shitty AC products before but these are pretty nice..
  7. i know you cant do it now but if you ever think youre sucking coolant just pull the cap off the radiator while its running and check it out.
  8. this is exactly what i thought...
  9. sorry man you arent gonna get shit.. i had a mower stolen one time. it was gone for a couple years. police 2 hours away called me and said they had it.. so i drove 2 hours to get it to find out i had to pay a towing bill of $150 bucks to get my OWN fuckin mower. the guy who had it went to court and they wanted me to come testify. i asked the prosecuting attorney what i would get out if it.. such a reimbursement for driving there, plus wear and tear on the mower, the towing money etc.. she said i wouldnt be able to get anything. i was like, then why the fuck would i drive back 2 hours to testify?? i was like you know he had it, what the fuck you need me for..
  10. did you email them to let them know??
  11. yep, theyre all the same. wiring harnesses could be a little different but nothing too major. PM "NYUK" here on the site. he might have a complete motor laying around. also check the classified ads. you can score a whole motor ready to run sometimes for around 500 bucks.
  12. its almost gotta be the shift forks. time to split them again.
  13. well id say your gas/fuel ratio is part of the problem. amsoil website says their 2 stroke oils are meant to be run at 50:1 and ive heard of people running that shit at like 100:1. youre feeding way too much oil into that engine.
  14. why not run a noss head?
  15. sure cant hurt!
  16. i dont wanna hear about plantshit on HQ anymore. if anyone has issues take it up through PM. im locking this bullshit.
  17. call jeff @ FAST at 1-785-364-5325 or PM him here at FASTOYS.
  18. yea it kinda sucks, but its really the only way. i usually spray them with carb cleaner and then use an air hose to blow them out. be sure to pull the mains and pilots out to get them really clean.
  19. you need 27.5 pilot in there more than likely.. what is your gas/fuel ratio? if your bike is sitting and idling its possible all the oil isnt burning off especially if youre running a ratio under 40:1. that could cause your plugs to be wet.
  20. you could spray crab cleaner into the intakes on them, but thats not gonna do much. just pull them apart. they arent complicated. do it on a work bench with a towel underneath so you dont lose anything.
  21. seems like someone on here had one of my swingarms up for sale at one point. i guarantee you that you cannot break one of mine. might try the havoc, ive heard good things about them.. going a little shorter will help out some, but if you want the beef you gotta get one of these bitches..
  22. pods. if air boxes were better all the drag guys would run them. its kinda nice those guys spend all their money on the test and tuning for shit like that.. then we dont have to.
  23. dogg, adjustable timing plates are cheap.. just buy one!!
  24. FAST. 1-785-364-5325 or FASTOYS on here.
  25. i run the br8es in my 10mm cub. works fine for me.
