  1. i called trinity yesterday to get an opinion from them and they are still claiming a gain in the top end even with the setup that i have. Has anyone else ever dealt with them and are a pretty honest place to deal with. the guy never really even had a doubt in his mind, didnt know if he was just looking for a sale. also i cant seem to understand how you loose top end from a bigger single carb when it was only sucking air half the time before with a much smaller carb, so if i could get the logic behind that i think i will have my mind set.
  2. port wise im looking for a little more mid to top end. like i said i dont drag race but i love the hill climbs. im just getting tired of the bike looking so dirty. those dual carbs take up alot of room and always seem to be leaking for some reason. between the carbs leaking and the sand sticking to it, it just looks like crap
  3. im running a 2005 banshee with +4 timing, cpi pipes, 20cc dome cool head, stock carbs with dual filters and v-force reeds. im looking into doing the 2 into 1 carb for the simple fact of less maintanance. i plan on doing some port work but not right away. all of my riding is on the coast at the oregon sand dunes. im not much of a drag racer but i love hill climbs so the top end means alot to me. im wondering if this sounds like it is even worth it or would be a waste of my money
  4. im going to let you figure this one out on your own. sounds a little too fishy to me.
  5. yep looks like plus 1 to me
  6. both my bearing chain guides in the front are gone. how important is it to have them? what problems might i have? i still have the front guide on the swingarm and the rear guide.
  7. wondering which brand of rear sprocket you guys recommend. ive gone through a cheap one and a really good one. which ones have you guys had the best luck with?
  8. i bought a swingarm from them about a year and a half ago. both the adjustment ears broke completely off causing my chain to come off and the welds for the shock mount broke too. They sell them cheap because they are cheap. i dont recommend them for anyone who likes to race or jump.
  9. just bought myself a + 4 cascade. Hoping that im happy with it. getting it on wednesday and trying it out on saturday.
  10. i just love hill climbing and love jumping. i was thinking of switching to a +4. do you think that would help me out at all?
  11. i just got done driving for 12 hours to get to ride my bike for 2 hours. I was down at winchester bay jumping my banshee and the chain came off. i looked around and the mounts for adjusting the chain tension were broken clear off. so i looked over the swingarm even more and the part welded for the rear shock was broken as well. I bought this swingarm a little over a year ago, it was one of those cheap ones off ebay. Now i never want to buy another one. I had a 6 in extended and i love it but i also love to jump. What brand is the best for jumping, which one can handle it?
  12. im sorry i ment 295 main jet. im not riding slow for that long though, maybe 7 or 8 minutes. it doesnt always have to be slow mainly just low rpm. thats why im thinking its a jetting problem
  13. its been a long time since ive had the carbs apart, i believe its 195 main jet. im not really familar with these carbs. ive looked and have not found a pilot jet. is there one?
  14. my banshee overheats when just driving around at low rpms for a longer period of time. Im thinking maybe its running too lean off idle. Any ideas of what else the problem could be? i have coolhead with 20cc domes, cpi pipes, stock carbs needle on 3rd notch. ive already bought a prodesign waterpump. its not installed yet but i dont think that is the fix for the problem
  15. i was down at winchester and didnt see anything out there.
