  2. I should probably verify that I did the comp test correctly also. Only had the plug out of the cyl I was working on, throttle closed, filters on, and kick till the gauge topped out. Is that correct?
  3. Hello all, The Banshee was getting pretty sluggish on the bottom end, but winds out good still. Before putting in new plugs, did a compression check. Left bank is 135 and right bank is 150. Reading that possibly cracked or broken reeds could be the culprit, if that's the case, wouldn't it crap out on the top end too? Any input appreciated. Thanks, Terry

  5. Hello all, new banshee owner here. I also got in the deal a 1997 Banshee with no motor, has carbs, pipes and all...just no top end/bottom end/ trans. I am keeping my eyes peeled for either a wrecked one or maybe just a great deal on one to pull the motor and put in mine. Will all the years of motors interchange so it will be a simple swap? Thanks! Terry
