  1. put the stock key back in and buy a timing plate. they arent that expensive and its adjustable. the timing keys have been known to shear which will cause more problems than what its worth. call FAST to get you a plate. 785-364-5325
  2. uhhh..... shit. ok, so what does everyone would think for a shirt design.. i was thinking something simple on the front, like "BHQ" in the upper left hand corner. then on the back www.bansheehq.com and a slogan. you guys dont really want a picture of a banshee on there do you? most 4 wheeler pics are kinda lame. any ideas on slogans? "all banshees, all the time" "banshees..making girls scream since 1998" (yes the site has been here since 1998. found out last night from lee)
  3. im not sure yet. i need to get to the shop and see. we just had shirts made and used two different kinds. one says "ultra cotton" and is 100% cotton preshrunk. the other is "ultra blend" and is 50/50 not preshrunk.. they both fit me almost exactly the same. the reason for the two different kinds is that one of the colors i wanted only came in the 100%. i actually wear a kids large..
  4. shirt colors have not yet been determined. ill probably get a design picked first, then figure out what colors everyone would want. ill prolly stay away from white. these will be nice shirts. our company uses them when we make company shirts. they are good quality and last forever. black, red, navy blue, army green, graphite.. thats what im thinking.
  5. some of you may know there are some big changes about to be happening to HQ. gonna be some upgrades and things that i think everyone will like.. one of the first things i want to do is to get bansheehq shirts made. i want to get an idea of what sizes most guys on the site are wearing. im going to be designing a few different logos with some sort of slogan.. please vote in the poll as to what size you would wear. the shirts i would be using are gildan. they are a good thick, high quality shirt. the mediums would probably be best for guys under 150 pounds and shorter. large from 150 to 180. x-large from 180 to ??? obviously xxl would be a custom order type deal.
  6. podos is a joke.. my brother ordered a swingarm from them a long time ago. it was supposed to be new and it came looking all fucked up. the chrome looked like shit. he sent it back.
  7. shearers on a totally stock bike? i wouldnt.
  8. yea, you need to hit some other shit too.. check this out for abs.. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/exercises....scle=Abdominals
  9. start checking the electrical stuff. does it have tors? any bare wires? connection come apart? is the coil grounded well to the mounting tabs?
  10. thats motherfuckin right..
  11. thats fuckin tight. drop the suzuki stickers tho!
  12. so you were stupid a couple months ago and now you can make one off custom pistons?? wow, youve really progressed.
  13. 48 pilot and 162 main. youll probably have to drop to 45 pilot and 158 or 160 main when it warms up a little.
  14. theres a big difference between using capital letters and writing a sentence that people can actually understand.
  15. jug, no i dont.. ive been on there a couple times but dont have one. you made some huge fuckin gains(losses i mean). i always bullk up in the winter and cut in the summer. im always bigger and leaner each summer. i would keep cutting. hit them abs a lot and stay on track with some cardio. you hit the weights hard or what??
  16. seems like a pretty decent deal. keep watching them and snag them if they dont go too high. i dont know what cylinders with porting are worth these days, but someone might chime in and let you know. you can always sell your cylinders now to recoup some cost as well. it sounds like these cylinders may be a little more geared to drag and fast paced dunes. thats not to say you cant use them in the trails, but some gearing changes might be required. these cylinders will probably start making power between 4 and 6k. if i were going to build a banshee for the trails, id want the power to come on sooner than that. if they dont go much higher i dont think you can get hurt on them. give them a try and see how you like them.
  17. it will probably take putting it in a couple times and putting the pressure plate on to get it adjusted properly. once in stalled, and with the pressure plate on, you want your clutch arm to line up pretty close to the arrow on the case. it doesnt have to be perfect and can go either towards the stator or away from it. just use it as a baseline to get it close. once you get the pancake where the arm is close, tighten the piss out of that nut. they can and will back off if not tightened enough. then install the pressure plate. next put the lockout on and get a screw with a spring on it started. its best to work your way around the lockout and not tighten one side down all the way. try to do it as evenly as you can as to avoid binding of the springs or stripping of the bolts.
  18. id just drop one in the front and see how you like it. its gonna make your 2nd gear starts easier and if you never see 6th gear anyway, it wont affect you there. rockymountainatv.com sells primary drive sprockets that are cheap and durable. you might want to go ahead and replace the rear too, so that your chain isnt riding on two sprockets that are worn differently. its a good idea to replace the chain every once in a while too.
  19. to only run 3 springs? hell fuck no. run all 6.
  20. got a link to that post? is that on ebay?
  21. first off, can you try to use some punctuation in your posts from now on? the better you break down your thoughts, the easier it is for us to understand what youre saying. that, in turn, will get you better responses from more people. second, i dont think that sounds strange at all. 6 hours is a lot of riding, especially if you were hitting WOT spots every now and then. hopped up motors will always use more fuel.
  22. send NYUK a PM. i bet he has one.
