  1. Changed the Plugs before I went to Glamis and i have only put about 6 hrs on with my new K&N air filters....I dont think its the carbs bc it has a good idle and a quick rev when I snap the throtle...Im going with the compression test...Thanks for your help
  2. I bought my 2003 Banshee used...about 2 years ago...Since then I have put about 30hrs of trail riding in...and about 8 hrs of sand riding in...I pulled the plugs off and they were covered in oil...my mix ratio is 32:1...Now I am seeing a lot of oil from the back of my exhaust pipes....This is my first rebuild I have ever had to do..I hear you can do a compression test to find out...but is there another way? I still have power in 1st gear on a straight away but have a hard time getting in to my power band...when Im in 2nd or 3rd.......Couldn't climb a dune in Glamis last week without the motor dying down...Also If i have to rebuild the top end...what else can I do to gain more horse power? port and polish? want to get as much power that I can without having to run Hight Octane racing fuel...that stuff is expensive...O and I almost forgot..Im having a hard time starting the bike now....Could it be a spark problem instead? Thanks for your Input guys.
  3. i do alot of trail dirt riding......only able to take it out to the dunes twice a year if im lucky....im runing stock tires....i try to launch in 2nd gear...i have Works shocks, Lonestar + 4 swingarm, Wicked +2 A-arms, Durablue X33 Billet +2 Rear Axle, Lonestar Sprocket Carrier, Trinity Stage IV Stainless Exhaust with Billet Pipes, Boss Billet intake, Keihin 29mm PWK Flatslide carbs, VForce 3 reeds, Billet Noss Cool Head with 21cc chambers.
  4. Since i broke my chain sproket im looking to upgrade...can anyone recomend a all around good sproket size? I never find myself topping out on the last gear.....their just isnt enough space to open up my banshee all the way...at best i only get into 4th gear.....what size should i go with to give me a decent hole shot......but still have enough top end.....dont want a "drag" bike...just looking for the best all around teeth size.....Thanks for your input.
  5. Has anybody had a problem with the Lone Star Sprocket Carrier? my locking nut backed off and broke carrier.....rear sprocket, chain, engine case :: now im trying to put my bike back together but im not to sure i want to use the same carrier since that was the cause of all the damage....it their any better carries i should look into?
