  1. welcome to HQ homie
  2. first off, welcome to HQ bro i think you need to go with a strong 4mm stock cylinder setup or a 4mm cub. i would steer clear of that vitos big bore setup. it all depends on how much you wanna spend. t5's will probably conflict with just about any 4mm setup out there. youre going to end up needing to upgrade carbs and pipes.
  3. you cant just toss a 4mm crank in there and go riding. the port timing of the cylinders must be changed to match the extra stroke other wise it will not run right. also, you will need stroker domes to accept the extra height of the pistons because of the stroke. i recommend you having a reputable builder do the porting for you and getting you the correct domes.
  4. the ones on my yfz450 slipped right on.
  5. haha funny shit..
  6. i like the red fullbores.. not a big fan of the frame tho. silver would look sick.
  7. with some ride time, you can learn to handle just about anything. i can whip my +6 around like its stock, but i have 5 years of ride time on it. id say for trails and what not, no longer than +4. if you can get away with running the +4 comfortably in the trails i say go for it.
  8. will someone please post the manual on how to install a streetbike motor in a banshee so i can see pics of this thing by the weekend?
  9. your local hardware store should have them. i believe its an M8x1.25 or M8x1.5 pitch bolt.
  10. i had an old 4mm stock cylinder motor that made 77hp. my brother had a 4mm stock cylinder motor from FAST that made right at 80hp. they were both running ass bikes. you can achieve everything you want with a stock cylinder 4mm setup. you will still be able to dune or trail ride it and be able to turn on the speed when youre wanting to beat on those pesky 4 stroke riders. build it right with keihin 33 or 35mm pwk carbs, v force reeds, pod filters, noss head and domes, pipes and timing and you will tear up those 4 strokes.
  11. haha.. ummmm..
  12. im wanting to buy both to have spares on hand. need to be in good working order. stator and CDI. send me pics with prices. you can email [email protected]
  13. yes, evenly matched. the two motors are very close HP wise. its going to come down to setup and rider. agreed. agreed again. ive been beat by a lot smaller motors are the dunes. ive also beat a lot of bigger motors there and at the hillclimbs there are several motors that are bigger than mine but i consistently beat. any of the site sponsors can get the cylinder for you. i know that kevin at herr jugs is building a 10mm DM right now.
  14. tim said it will be fine. hes gonna beef it up a little for me too. i will for sure have video and pics. bump!
  15. agreed. you can build a 4mm stock cylinder motor to do everything you want. any of the sponsors on HQ can build you a nice stout 4mm motor. i have ridden bikes by a few of them and they run hard.
  16. hahahahahahhaa.. why are there zip ties on the carb boots? that looks like an air leak waiting to happen.
  17. ive never been but if there arent many entries they may just do a 2 stroke and 4 stroke class. thats how most of the dirt hillclimbs are run. on occasion they will break down the 2 strokes into like 250cc and under and open. id say youll probably start in a flat surface for about 10 or 15 feet and then start up the hill. gear accordingly as the motor is gonna start pulling down hard once you hit the hill.
  18. fo sho..
  19. what 35mm pwk do you have? are they the regular pwk or the airstrikers? they have very different jetting...
  20. that actually looks pretty good.. i mean, im sure its still slow, but i bet it handles nice! you really need a chrome bansheehq.com sticker on there.
