  1. Sounds like you should have went with 20's... If ya want a cheap & great alternative...check out Sand King's turbo paddles - http://www.kingstire.com/KT-177.htm I paid like $160 out the door ready to bolt on from http:www.jimssandtoys.com Worth checking out if nothing else... They're built better than the skats are and work just as good as my previous 9paddle haulers...plus they're about 100 cheaper.
  2. My latest masterpiece....
  3. Sure, already do...it's called a Rascal with paddles.
  4. Well I smoke, shouldn't have ever started... I chew too here @ work when we're busy and I can't get outside for a smoke, Long Cut Wintergreen SKOAL for me. So I'm pretty much doublefucking myself.
  5. To see if it's bound up you should not have to pull anything off other than the clutch cover. Move your shifter & you'll see where the shift fork grabs the star & you'll be able to see if it popped out and is outside of the star & bound up in 2 gears. If so, take a small flathead & unbind it. I'd recommend shimming up your shifter also after getting the gears unbound.
  6. I'm right on time. Make sure the date/time settings on your PC are correct & in conjunction with the 'My Controls' settings here on the HQ.
  7. Why not both? Guess that is an R1 front...but owell.
  8. $1.92 for reg unleaded here. Those hybrids are looking more & more pimp'n...
  9. That would be the shizzle.
  10. Ah hell CeJ,...take one for the team!
  11. They're awesome. One of my best mods yet. I went from the K&N clamp-ons to the 2:1 & will never go back. Unless you stay out of huge puddles & water holes you won't have any issues...if you do, get a waterproof outerwear for it.
  12. A clymers will walk you through step by step... on each slide there's a little ball bearing....on the side of each carb there is a little window. You want the little bearing to show up in the window on each carb...then they're in sync.
  13. Yeah....not the best place to be the only white boy...
  14. I just take a ratchet strap tie-down, attach the hooks to the frame above the swingarm bolt,...wrap the tie-down around the flywheel & ratchet it tight so the flywheel won't move. Then I take a wrench & a cheater, take the nut off...then bust out the flywheel puller & whalah.
  15. Yeah well.... How do ya know when an ethiopian lady is pregnant? When she pulls out her tampon & it's half eaten!
  16. Carry'n on the Family Tradition... Been there too...stay away from the Indian reservations & there little 'parties'... Wasn't too bad though.
  17. I'm a Technical Support Specialist, work with IT & ISP's. I do 90% of our company's web administration & all graphic design work - http://www.keycreations.com - http://www.ispkansas.com Really I just get paid to pimp it on the HQ. In the evenings I'm a FT college student working slowly but surely towards my MBA. I'll be a CNC programmer before I get that completed, tis the plan anyway.
  18. yepper, high grass can be a bitch. Last summer I was in 3rd WOT & launched into an old silage pit that has been there for years. I knew it was there but you couldn't see it...I thought I was steared away for it & actually was going strait at it. Was going to fast to stop,...so 'when in doubt, power out' & that's just what I did, landed level on the other side of the pit that angles up at about a 45 degree angle, bottomed out the F&B suspension and took a tank to the nuts, jammed the wrists but was able to escape without any broken bones. Had I let up off the throttle chit could have been worse.
  19. I recently installed a Ricky Stator stock wattage stator on the adjustable plate, allows you to adjust + or - 7 degrees. I advanced the timing +4. Wow, is about all I could say. Before at an idle if I punched the throttle to WOT it would bog a bit & then rev all the way up. After installing the stator shee raps out as fast as I hit the throttle. One of the best mods I've done yet. I hear if you lighten the flywheel while you're at it it's even better, less hesitation in the low end & quicker rev. So if ya got a few extra bucks, send your flywheel to the boonman & let him lighten it for you. I should have, but I'm a broke ass. One of these days...
  20. What are your mods? Does it idle real low? How does it act after you ride for a while? If it's just idling to low you may just be able to adjust the idle a bit.
  21. or maybe even a crf450 quad.
  22. I'll tell you what the problem is, too much free time at work. Thats where the problem lies. Have fun at the dunes, you sand monkey.
